Hello guys in my story Callum is 23 and Rayla, Ezran is 17 and Ellis is also 17.

Callum's P.O.V

Hello my name is Callum as you probably know, I'm the Prince and High Mage of Katolis.
And today is a very special day, today is the Royal Ball. The reason why it's called that, I don't know, but anyways, the Ball is to celebrate peace between the Human Kingdoms and Xadia, to celebrate all that we've done in seven years. And I also want to ask Rayla to marry me tonight at the Ball. I love her so much and can't imagine my life without her I want Rayla to be part of my life forever, and I hope she feels the same way. And now let's get back to the story.

It's 6:22 in the morning. I've been awake for a while now just thinking of what I'm gonna say to Rayla.

I was deep in thought until I heard a small noise coming from the warm body next to me, I turned my head in the direction of the noise.

"I love the morning when I get to wake up with you,"  I said. Rayla turns around to face me.

"Me too, it's the best feeling," Rayla says smiling. "How did you sleep Callum?"

"Good thank you and you?" I ask.

"I slept great thank you." Rayla said.

"So Rayla I've been wondering if your going to the Ball tonight?" I asked.

"Like I have a choice, not to be rude but I have to go, it's not like I can just stay here the whole day with you. Callum you know I have to go so why did you ask?" Rayla said.

"No reason, I was just wondering," I said.

"So, Callum what are you doing today before the Ball?" Rayla asked.

"Well since your asking, I'm going to help Ezran get some stuff done for the Ball tonight and then get something nice to wear, then something secret, and you?" I said.

"And what is that something secret?" Rayla asked raising and eyebrow.

"It's a surprise," I said.

"Oh is it now?" Rayla said.

"Yes it is," I replied, "And what are you doing today?"

"Well, I'm going to find something nice to wear for tonight then going to help Ellis with somethings for tonight, then going to wait for Ethari to arrive." Rayla said.

"That sounds nice," I said. "We have to get ready for tonight so we better get going?"

"Yeah, you're right," Rayla says.

We got out of bed and got dressed. Then went down the stairs to get breakfast, but when we got to the kitchen we saw Ezran and Ellis kissing.

"Should we go in or?" Rayla asked.

"Let's wait a second," I said.

"Okay," Rayla agreed.

After a few minutes we went in the kitchen and they didn't now we were even there until I cleared my throat, Ezran and Ellis stop kissing and turned around as red as a tomato

"Good morning Ezran and Ellis." Rayla and I said in unison laughing.

"Good morning guys. How long were you standing there?" Ezran said.

"Long enough to know you had a small make out session," Rayla said.

They both blushed even darker red than before looking down.

"Yeah okay I have to go feed Aven now. Bye!" Ellis said then ran away.

That only left Rayla, Ezran and I in the kitchen and Ezran does not want to make eye contact with us.
