Author's POV

Currently, BTS are on their tour, going from country to country to perform for ARMYs at concerts. It was exhausting, but they didn't mind it. It was their job. A job of an idol is not easy as anyone thinks it is. It requires a lot of effort and you do everything to please your fans.

In a concert, the main focus is on the performance and the vocals of the members. Some celebrities don't mind them, but Kpop is different. The idols care more about their performance and if they feel like they didn't do a great job, it makes them fall mentally. The same goes with the world's biggest boy band BTS.

During their debut days, they weren't that pressured to practice as they were rookies and still new to the Kpop world. But as the time passed, when they gained more and more popularity, their schedules got hectic to the point of barely having a chance to meet their parents at least once a year.

In the beginning, it was hard. Most of them wanted to quit, but they didn't want to abandon their fans. They are the reason why they are here, being the most successful band in the world.

For the most part, the BTS leader, RM also known as Kim Namjoon, is a hardworking person too. He has to guide the group to reach forward as the leader. Even their fan chant starts with Kim Namjoon. ARMYs have a lot of respect towards their humble leader, who's really kind and moderately strict towards the members.

Some members are dancers, some began with rapping and also some had no unique qualifications to be an idol either. But during their trainee days, they worked hard and managed to balance each of their capabilities among the members. Members who weren't good at dancing got used to dancing, and the members who had to improve their vocals went beyond experts.

It's been 9 years since they debuted, and they are still continuing. During the year, most of the members faced many problems. But somehow overcame them and now they are getting back to work after the long hiatus due to COVID.

They have successfully pulled off 4 concerts by now and got three days of rest to get ready for the next concert. By now, all the members can dance very well. But some members still over-practice to make the move perfect. One of the members is none other than Namjoon.

Namjoon's POV

I've been practicing the dance break of 'Dynamite' where we change the track smoothly to 'Butter.' There is a step where I always find it difficult to manage so I asked the others to go to their hotel rooms and rest. I never thought I'll spend more than 3 hours in the dance practice room over a single dance step. I sighed in disapproval.

"Why can't I get this one step correct?" I asked myself and went to the hotel by my bicycle. It's not my bicycle, I took it for temporary use because everyone knows I adore riding the bicycle than going in a vehicle.

I share a room with Jin hyung. I expected him to be asleep when I go there but got greeted by an angry Seokjin, crossing his arms. I knew I fucked up.

"What took you this long to come back? I was worried sick about you when you didn't answer my calls." He snapped at me. I checked my phone just to see 12 missed calls by Jin hyung. I smiled cheekily at him.
"I'm sorry Jin hyung. I was practicing the whole time and maybe I didn't hear the phone ring because of the music."
"Namjoon ah, don't overwork yourself alright? You need to stay fit for our next concert." I nodded while curving the corners of my lips up.

The next morning, I woke up at 5 am for extra practice by myself. I didn't feel satisfied with my performance so I thought of redoing the step until I master it. If I'm not satisfied with it yet, I make sure to stay an extra one or two hours after the practices with the members. I've mastered the step already, but there were more steps I need to improve in other songs.
