Jungkook - Flu

Hey everyone!
You see, I got an eight days break in the middle of the exams... So I thought, why not write a chapter?

Also, I'm not feeling the best, I'm currently having a slight fever too, probably due to exam stress. This isn't my comeback, as always. I promise I'll come back with a special chapter on or after the 23rd of June!

Jungkook's POV

We're currently in our vacation; well it's almost about to end. We got a break for a month and now I'm getting ready to go back to Seoul. Our whole family got caught with the flu, but surprisingly I didn't get it. I've got a super antibody anyway (I mean I thought I have).

The day I left Busan, my body felt weird. It was aching all over, I almost tripped on my own foot in the morning. I knew I'm coming up with something big. As soon as I stepped my foot out of my parents' house, the sunlight blinded me and I almost lost my balance. My mom noticed this and quickly grabbed my hand to help me steady myself.

I know it's impossible for someone to help me balance myself as I weigh a lot. But when it comes to my mom, you see, she's my mom so she can deal with my weight. Truth to be said, she's stronger than me.

"Woah bunny, you alright?" My mom asked worriedly as I lost my balance.
"Y-Yeah mom, I'm fine. Just, the sunlight blinded my eyes." I replied. She rested her palm on my forehead.
"You look kinda pale... I hope you're not coming down with the flu we got." My eyes widened. I hope I won't get that damn flu. Still, I didn't want to make my mom worry so I reassured her.
"Don't worry mom. Even if I get it, I'll make sure to get the medications on time, alright?" She nodded and hugged me tightly. I hugged her back.
"Good bye kookie... See you soon..." She waved her hand as I got into the car.

During the journey, I started to feel sicker and sicker. I leaned more onto my seat to make myself comfortable and ignore the nauseous feeling. Somehow, to my misfortune, the driver noticed my pale face.

"Sir, you feeling alright? Are you going to throw up?" He asked. I didn't want to reply as I knew if I open my mouth, the sick might make its appearance inside the car. So I just nodded and covered my mouth with my hand, not being able to hold the sick in anymore. The driver panicked and quickly parked the car near some bushes in the road.

I blast opened the car door and let the sick come out from my mouth harshly. It's definitely the flu, I told to myself. The driver quickly came to my side and rubbed my back. He managed to cover me and prevent other people from recognising me as I had no mask on. After a whole session of heaving, I gave up and the driver helped me to stand on my legs.

"Feeling better?" He asked while rubbing the side of my arm. I nodded and let him help me sit inside the car. I muttered out a 'thank you' to him and he just shook his head.
"It's nothing, sir. My job is to take you home safely." He smiled and I smiled back at him.

"But-" I paused. "-please don't tell anyone that I'm not feeling well..." I said weakly.
"Why? You're sick-" "please... I'll let my members know when I go home... I promise." I cut him off and flashed my doe eyes at him. He sighed.
"Fine..."

After a long drive, I finally arrived at the dorm. The driver tried to help me get out from the car but I saw Namjoon hyung waiting for me at the door steps. I shook my head as a no to my driver and he immediately retreated his hand. As I got out from the car, I got a bit dizzy but somehow managed myself to stay balanced. I thanked the driver for dropping me and got in. Before I went inside, Namjoon hyung stopped me.
