Jungkook - Faking sick

So I'm thinking of doing POVs from now on. Enjoy :)

Author's POV

Jungkook is known for his amazing vocals, dancing, and rapping skill. Basically, he is known as our golden maknae. Jungkook was happy about his improvements, skills, and talents but he had one problem... Why is he so perfect? There were times where his other members would get sick but he can't remember a day he got sick after their debut. He's supposed to be happy about that but instead, he was annoyed. The amount of energy he has within himself is unbelievable. He never had a break unless if it is a day off. So Jungkook wanted to do something... He wanted to fake sick or be actually sick. He knew that it was not a good idea but he really needed rest.

Jungkook's POV

I was trying to come up with a plan but I couldn't think of one. So I had to Google it to find some ways to make yourself sick or pretend to be sick. I don't know why I wanted to do this but for some reason, I was so eager to do it. Then I saw some ideas about how to fake sick and how to make yourself sick but not too hard. After that, I decided to fake sick and afterward, make myself sick.

It was 7 in the morning, and I went downstairs to join with others. This is where my acting began. I started to walk without any energy and I let myself sway sidewards to make it obvious to the others, but I did not overreact. Slowly, I reached the dining table and kept my head on the table silently. "Good morning Jungk-" was all Jin said but stopped himself when he saw me with my head on the table.

Seokjin's POV

"Hey, Kookie, you feeling alright?" I asked as soon as I saw our maknae keeping the head on the table. "Yes, h-hyung... I'm okay. Just a little tired". I couldn't believe my eyes when I heard him saying "tired"... Well, there is nothing to be surprised by it because he is a human too, but I can't remember a day Jungkook said "tired" because he was so energetic. Something feels off. Is Jungkook sick? But how? After all these years of staying together? As I was not sure, I kept the back of my palm on his forehead. It is not feeling warm either. So then what is it?

"Kookie, are you having a headache or something?" No response. "Kookie?" Again, silence. I looked at him closely, then realized that our bunny have fallen asleep while talking with me. "Poor kookie," I thought. Jimin was on the couch, playing on his phone. When he noticed me calling Jungkook a couple of times, he came over to me and sat beside Jungkook. "Is he ok?" Jimin asked. "I'm not so sure, Jimin-ah. He said he is feeling tired that's all. But I feel like he is not feeling well". Jimin sighed.

Jungkook's POV

I was pretending to be asleep, but it was so hard. I really wanted to laugh but I kept silent. Then I decided to 'wake up' and stare at Jin, who was staring at me back. I lifted my head slowly and stared at Jin. "Hey kook, I guess you should go to the bed now. I'll bring your breakfast to the room. I don't think you're feeling well." I started to act like I'm confused. Then Jimin, who was staying beside me, helped me to get up and took me back to my room. I pretended like I'm out of energy and I fell onto the bed which scared Jimin the flip out of him. I curled up to a ball and hid under the blankets so they would think that I'm feeling 'cold'. After a while, Jin came into my room with my breakfast, which was porridge. I love porridge but I'm 'sick', so I had to pretend like I don't have any appetite to eat it.

So I refused to eat the porridge couple of times and ended up eating only 2 spoons of the porridge. After that, I hid under the blankets again to cover myself up. Jin sighed and went out of the room. I wanted to get up but again, I felt so comfy under the blankets, so I remained there and ended up sleeping for 4 hours.

~Time Skip (4 hours)~

Yoongi's POV

Jin told me that Jungkook was not feeling well, which surprised me. He has never been sick after the debut. I went into his room, everything was silent, except Jungkook's snoring. I went near him and started to play with his hair. I was wondering if he was faking it. But I didn't care, he can be sick too. So I left the room silently, without making a noise. But for my sake, the door made a sound and I started to cringe. I looked back at Jungkook again, but unfortunately, it woke him up. I swore under my breath. How can I be so reckless? I went near Jungkook and patted him on the shoulder.

"Hey baby, how are you feeling now?" "Wha- why what's wrong with me?" I got confused. Was he that sick? He can't even remember what happened to him? "Baby, you were not feeling well. Can't you remember?" I saw his eyes go wide which made me a bit suspicious about his 'sickness'.

Jungkook's POV

I messed up. I forgot about my fake sick mission. After a moment I saw Yoongi furrowing at me. "Aren't you sick?" He asked. I almost jumped but managed to remain still. What am I gonna do now? Should I tell him about what I'm doing? I'm scared that he might scold me. "H-hyu-" "No stop from right there, Mr. Jeon Jungkook." I felt like I got caught. Yoongi never talked like that, unless it's serious. I'm so screwed.

"So, tell me, why are you faking sick? The other members are so worried about you because it is not likely that you are si-" "That's the reason, hyung". I spoke up. Yoongi flinched by my sudden response. He seems to be confused so I continued. "That's the reason why I'm acting like I'm sick. Since our debut, I've never been sick so I wanted to be 'sick' and take a rest. If I remain energetic like I am right now, then I won't ever have any rest."

Both of us were silent for a moment until Yoongi spoke up, "Yah, I guess I understand you. But you didn't have to do it in this way kookie. You could have said about this to PDnim so he would understand and he would give you a break. PDnim is not a bad person after all right?" I thought for a moment. He was right. Why didn't I think about that? "I guess you are right hyung." I continued. Yoongi nodded and said "well I guess it's time to say the truth to the others. Don't worry they'll understand you, so come with me." I was nervous but I went behind Yoongi, holding his hands.

Author's POV

Yoongi went up to other members, who were already in the living room. They were surprised to see Jungkook with him. Yoongi explained everything to them and they understood. All of them gathered around Jungkook and gave him a tight hug. Namjoon immediately called PDnim and explained the situation, so Jungkook got a break of 3 days. Jungkook was so happy and he joined his hyungs and spent the rest of the day chatting about random stuff.
