Jhope - Kidnapped pt. 4

First of all, apologies if some points in this chapter are confusing as I've completely forgotten the plot 😭 I had to make a whole new one

Hearts thumping, nervous fingers, gritting teeth, and wondering eyes. Jae and the boys were looking around the area they just got into. They've never been here before.

"Hyung..." Namjoon turned his head toward the scared maknae.
"Do you think Hobi hyung is alright?"
"I'm sure he is Jungkook, don't worry. We all are worried too but at least we found out where the kidnappers are." Jungkook nodded his head slightly and let the curious eyes take over the unfamiliar surroundings.

After a thirty minutes drive, they finally arrived at their destination. Of course, they were hiding. There was security around the area so they couldn't go inside. The police had to call the ambulance, just in case someone needs it. Jimin asked for a long bamboo stick. Everyone was confused and asked why.

"Duh, I did Kendo remember? I'm gonna go and beat their asses up." He said proudly.
"Now who said you're going in with us?" The police asked.
"No one. Hobi hyung is my band member but most importantly my brother. Whether you like it or not I'm going in."
"Jimin, you know this is a serious mission right? You might get shot!" Jimin ignored all the warnings and prepared his stick with warming up to what was about to come.

"Jimin, are you sure you need to go?" Taehyung asked with worry laid in his voice.
"Don't worry, I'll come back definitely okay?" Jimin gave his radiating contagious eye smile that made Taehyung feel much better.

A team of 40 police officers slowly reached the building; including the band members. The police asked Jae to step back although she cried and whimpered to let her come with them.The building seemed to be an abandoned apartment which hasn't been used for years. The police managed to get all the guards down one by one by tricking them. It wasn't easy though. It took them 45 minutes. 

They slowly got into the building and a sudden thump was heard. Everyone panicked and thought one of them was caught but it was Jimin who knocked down a guard they missed from behind with the guide of his bamboo stick. Jin pat his back and continued to look for their beloved sunshine.

The police came across a room that seemed to be suspicious and they knew someone was inside the room. Two policemen stood beside the doorway and on the count of three, both of them barged into the room and held their gun at the person inside.

Half of the team ran into the room and was met with the kidnapper. She tried to scare them away with her pistol but it was knocked off by Jimin who was standing beside her and pushed her back hard with the stick. As she fell due to the heavy force, four police officers got on top of her and managed to lock her up with handcuffs.

"Where did you hide him?!" The police asked her harshly but she was laughing and never gave out a reply. They carried her to the police car and signaled the rest to continue looking for Hoseok.

Suga was on the verge of having an anxiety attack. What if something has happened to him? What if he's injured? What if-
His thoughts were interrupted by the police when they knocked on a door that was locked. They tried asking if anyone is in there but received no answer. After a few attempts of pushing and punching the door, it finally opened and fell to the ground. This is where everyone witnessed the heart-wrenching moment.

Hoseok was in the middle of the room passed out, his palms tied and bruises all over his hands, neck, and face. As much as it was hard to watch the members quickly rushed in towards their member when suddenly a gunshot was fired. The room quickly filled with an echoing scream.

Taehyung was shot.

Jimin quickly rushed to Taehyung's side while the police fired at the guards who were hiding in a corner of the room. Soon both of them were caught and taken away, while the police called the medics in to check on both Taehyung and Hoseok. The head chief of the team quickly rushed over to Taehyung and shook his head.

"I told you this mission is no joke. You could have gotten badly injured. Thank god it's only your hand."
"What matters the most is that we finally found Hobi hyung- wait, how is he?" Taehyung turned his head toward Hoseok's direction when he saw three medics examining him after freeing him from the ropes. They quickly got off the floor and went towards him.

"How is he?" Namjoon asked worriedly.
"He's not responsive and there are no signs of head injury either. We have to take him to the hospital as soon as possible." The medics loaded him on a stretcher and took him and Taehyung to the hospital while the rest joined Jae to give more information.

When they went over to Jae, she was crying in happiness. She went over to Suga and hugged him tightly.
"I saw Hobi! He was alive! But it seemed to me he was unconscious... I heard a gunshot inside and I was panicking! Is everyone alright?"
"He was. That's why they took him immediately. And all of us except Taehyung are fine. He was shot in his arm." Suga said as Jae gasped in terror.
"So that's why he got into the ambulance with them..."

Back at the hospital, when the members and Jae arrived, they were permitted to visit Hoseok. When they went into the room, a rather tired and pale-looking Hoseok smiled at them. All the members rushed over and hugged him tightly.

"We're not going to go out without you again," Jungkook said as he smiled. "and you know, because of you some people had to show their true colours." Everyone's eyes turned to Suga when he blushed slightly.
"Did he cry again?" Hoseok asked while chuckling and hugged Yoongi for a long time.
"I thought I lost you, Hoba."
"I thought I would not see you all again," Hoseok said teary-eyed. All of them shushed him and reassured him that everything is over now.

Meanwhile, Jae was fondly looking at them. She loved their brotherhood. After all the welcoming, Hoseok's eyes glittered in happiness when he saw the love of his life.
"JAE!" He screamed while opening his arms wide. Jae chuckled, ran over to him, and let him embrace her tightly. Everyone's faces were filled with awe. Hoseok gently pecked her lips and hugged her again.

"Hold on," Hoseok paused, "where is Taehyung-"
Just then, the room door opened. All the members were surprised to see the doctors bringing an unconscious Taehyung into the room. Hoseok was dumbfounded and looked at every member's face to understand what is going on.

"Guys... What happened to him?" Namjoon explained how Taehyung got accidentally shot when he came into the room. Hoseok did not waste another minute and asked how he was doing from the doctor.
"He's okay now. The wound was not that deep but we had to stitch it up. That's why we had to put him under anesthesia. He'll wake up anytime soon."
"And what about Hoseok?" Suga asked.
"We'll have to put him for therapy sessions... I think I don't have to tell you the reason." They nodded and bowed at the doctors before turning their attention back to Hoseok.

"Woah, I got shivers after remembering what happened... would these bruises go away? I feel dirty and disgusting when I see them." Jae caressed his hair and placed a kiss on his forehead.
"You're not dirty. She is the dirty one. You're the purest person I know in this world, okay?" Hoseok smiled and asked Jin to take a video of Taehyung who was starting to come around. He seemed goofy and even funnier under anesthesia.

The rest of the week was spent without interruptions. The kidnapper was sued and sentenced to jail for 50 years, Hoseok went to therapy sessions regularly and started to feel better quickly. Taehyung took rest all the time and for the next few weeks, they stayed happily and never let a member stay alone in their dorm.
