Coruscant was a lightspeed trip away. Anakin revealed Darth Sidious's plans on the way over.

Darth Sidious– the Chancellor. You were right all along. If only he had listened...

Stupid, reckless boy. And he knew it, too. But that would be an ass-beating for another time.

Now, the three of you were speeding off to the Temple, where Sidious was readying an attack on the temple. He was going to implement something called "Order 66", which would turn all of the clones on their Jedi masters all over the galaxy. And the biggest hotspot, the place he was to lead his own army into, was the Temple.

You shivered at the image of all of this. Imagining Anakin slaughtering everyone in the temple... you remembered your dream about the younglings. He would have done that, if it weren't for you and Obi-Wan.

The thought was horrifying.

You added it to the list of ass-kickings Anakin would receive once this was all over, and if all of you were still alive.

In the meantime, Obi-Wan and Anakin were brainstorming a plan. They were muttering to each other, arguing more like, but the sight made your heart throb. They truly were brothers. And that was almost lost.

They were still throwing plans back and forth as the ship landed in the temple. There was not a soul in sight– Obi-Wan had called ahead and ordered an evacuation of the temple, due to Darth Sidious's plans to attack. You were only stopping there for weapons, seeing as how you chucked their only lightsabers into lava just a few moments earlier.

Anakin immediately took your hand and the three of you began running toward the armory. There were always a few lightsabers left lying around usually, but it seemed like with the threat made known, all of the Jedi took their sabers with them.

Obi-Wan found one still in the process of being forged, the green kyber crystal new and freshly placed. It must be a young Padawans, but it would work.

Anakin, on the other hand. Had an idea. He told you to stay put, and left the room in a hurry. When he came back, he was breathing hard and carrying a box. "I got these for Ahsoka, before she..." he shook his head. "It was supposed to be a gift, for if she ever came back."

He opened the box and took out two lightsabers. Your eyes caught on the silver metal. You had seen it before, all covered in snow and ice, clasped between two large, metal hands.

Not anymore, you had to chant over in your head to keep the panic at bay. That is not the future anymore.

The next step was to figure out where Darth Sidious was. They had expected him to be here, in the temple, awaiting Anakin and his army of clones to wipe everyone out. But obviously the plans had shifted... the sith must have known something went wrong as soon as everyone got word to evacuate.

All it took was for Anakin to close his eyes, and he had located the Chancellor.

The Senate building, too, was devoid of life, save for the loud crashing and flashes of electric light. There was a battle ensuing, and you were heading straight to it.

The source of the commotion became clear soon enough. The Galactic Senate Chamber was a mess of disc-shaped seats, ripped out of their places and thrown in every direction. They were smoking and bent, scraps of metal littering the huge arena. And in the center, was a hunched, wrinkled-looking figure, with ugly claws raised before him, sending bolts of lightning at Yoda.

The small green Jedi was jumping and tumbling over chairs, but the Sith had the high ground, and Yoda was obviously struggling to avoid the blasts. You watched him flip in the air, skid across a metal platform, and then get hit with electricity before being able to move out of the way.
