The Dragonfly Revolt year three

The war enters its third and final year.

The victory at battle of Hamburg gave the Butterfly forces a well needed morale boost in the war, so much that the Butterfly forces became overconfidence, they thought that the Dragonfly forces would go on the defensive after their recent defeat, giving them time to sure up their defenses and plan counter offensive to retake their territories and liberate their allies, but they were sorely mistaken.

For the Dragonfly forces, now more than ever,  seek whatever advantage they can get their hands on in order to win the war, by any means necessary, Dr. Psychabolts builds an underwater ship he calls the Sub boat, with the Sub boats in hand, the Dragonfly forces were able to launched a surprise invasion of the Waterfolk kingdom, while most of the Waterfolk army were on the surface fighting on the frontlines for the Butterfly forces, a small skeleton force was all that was left to defend the kingdom, the defenders couldn't break through the sub boat's reinforced steel armor, the sub boats breached the underwater palace, forcing the Waterfolk to surrender.

The Dragonfly forces reveled in their victory over the Merpeople, but the war had still yet to be won, so a month later they decided to invade the Ponyhead kingdom, while most of ponyhead army were still on the frontlines fighting for the butterfly forces, and especially during a huge royal Ponyhead princess birthday party celebration, using their airships, the Dragonfly forces flew up to the Ponyhead kingdom capital, the sneaking under clouds, and when the time was right, they attacked catching the Ponyheads completely by surprise and crushing whatever the defenders were left to defend, and forced the Ponyhead monarch to surrender.

A month after the Ponyhead kingdom fell, even though the Dragonfly forces crushed two entire kingdoms in just two months, their leader, Asterid Dragonfly was still not satisfied, she grew more and more angry and impatient, hungering for victory each day as the war continued to stretch on with no clear victory in sight, and so, she came to Dr. Psychabolts and demanded him to create her a new army of Solarian warriors in order to allow the Dragonfly forces to finally win the war, but Dr. Psychabolts explained that he couldn't, because of how one of the steps in the process of making Solarian warriors required the wand, without it any plans of making new Solarian warriors would be impossible, that and he also forgot where he hid the machine that makes the said Solarian warriors, but then he explained how he can create a new breed of super Mewman warriors, with the Dragonfly Hilt's assistance, though while they wont be as powerful as the Solarian warriors, but they'll be much harder to kill, he dubbed them the Nargunian warriors.

Asterid and Dr. Psychabolts started the Nargunian program, once machine that would create the Nargunian warriors was finished, Asterid conscripted 10k soldiers for the program, once Asterid inserted her sword into the machine's chamber, the 10k conscripted were transformed into, the Nargunian warrriors, they became larger, stronger, buff muscles, and they were given stone like skin, making them impervious to most magical and non magical weapons, able to slowly heal their own wounds, blast out magical fire from their fists, immortality, and jump high into the air and fall down like a canon ball, Asterid needed a general to lead the Nargunian warriors, Granite (oc character), the first one participate in the program, and the strongest amongst them, and a veteran of the Great Septarian war, so he was made General of Nargunian warriors, Asterid also had Dr. Psychabolts print blueprints to the machine so the Dragonfly forces can build another Nargunian warrior making machine and replenish Nargunian warriors whenever losses rose too high.

Asterid had the Nargunian warriors along with 20k soldiers to invade the Lucitor kingdom garrison of 20k Lucitor soldiers and another 20k butterfly soldiers, to most, it was a fool's errand, but not for the Dragonfly forces, a Chaos Consortium member opens a portal to the underworld, starting the invasion, the underworld campaign was bloody and grueling, as they face demons, hostile terrain, and the Luctitors built up many forts and strongholds, making sure that for every territory that the Dragonfly forces took were costly, the campaign  went on for 8 months and though the Dragonfly forces lost up to 20k soldiers and 2k Nargunian warriors, but against all odds the Dragonfly forces managed achieve victory in the underworld and force the Lucitors to surrender.

The fall of Lucitor kingdom and 40k casualties were devastating blows to the Butterfly forces, as their forces are now reduced to 38k soldiers while the Dragonfly forces had 50k soldiers and 8k Nargunian warriors.

The Dragonfly forces invade both Johansen and Xeratec kingdoms, the two invasion hosts each have around 20k soldiers, 50 airships, 500 cannons, 10 giant magical mechs, 4k Nargunian warriors, and 12 Chaos Consortium members, the remaining 10k Dragonfly soldiers were held in reserve for defense and eventually attack on Butterfly castle, in the meantime 1k out of 10k reserved Dragonfly soldiers were sent out to pillage the Butterfly kingdom countryside leading to many skirmishes and minor battles like the skirmish of Mold land that ended in a Dragonfly victory.

In less than two months the invasions have been successful as the Dragonfly losses were extremely light thanks in part to the Nargunian warriors, as they tore through their enemies in the battles of Gudvangen, Moray, Torksey, Vitcos with the death toll of nearly 20k soldiers for the Butterfly forces, leaving the Xeratec and Johansen kingdoms each with only 5k soldiers left to defend their respective capitals while they were undersiege, at the same time the Dragonfly forces were planning a final attack, an attack of the Butterfly kingdom's heart, Butterfly castle, which only had 8k soldiers left to defend It, everyone in Mewni thought that the Dragonfly forces were on the verge of winning the war and that nothing could stop their march to victory.

But then; two weeks before the planned date of the attack, a Velphi spy flies off from Butterfly castle, heading to Bronze spike fortress with great haste, for the spy has found intel about a very powerful spell being worked on by Festivia and Glossaryck, a spell that can end the war in Butterfly victory, the spy didn't know what the spell was called or how it will do it, but what she did know, was that the spell would be ready in less than a week.
