Two families of the same blood

Chapter 10

Three days have passed since the Velphi spy left for Bronze spike fortress, the Leadership of the Butterfly forces are puzzled why the Dragonfly forces pulled back their forces, but the Butterfly forces are not taking advantage of the situation, fearing that it might be a Dragonfly trick, so they hold their positions, meanwhile at Butterfly castle, Festivia and Glossaryck are working on the Spell to end the war.

Cut to Festivia's room door, powerful gust wind blasts through the door, cut to Festivia and Glossaryck over the spell book.

Glossaryck, "I think I speak for the both of us when I say this is now official ready".

Festivia, "Are you sure"?

Glossaryck, "We tested out the spell a hundred times already, we need to use it".

Festivia, "But what if something goes wrong"?

Glossaryck, "I already told you that the spell, Twistering exile will banish the Dragonfly forces far away, to farthest lands of Mewni".

Festivia, "But what if....".

Glossaryck, "I'm gonna stop you right there, because you're not actually worried about the spell, your worried about your sister Asterid aren't you"?

Festivia, "Y...yay I am, I know she committed terrible deeds but, I don't want to lose her, i don't want hurt her, I...I...I  just want her to be my sister again, sniff, I just want her back"!!!

Glossaryck, "I miss her too, but Asterid Butterfly is gone, now there's only Asterid Dragonfly, and she wants you dead, so we gotta use this spell as soon as possible and...."

But Glossaryck get interrupted by the loud noises of warning bells, Festivia and Glossaryck head to the tower view and are horrified to find Butterfly castle being sieged by a huge Dragonfly host numbering 50k soldiers, 8k Nargunian warriors, 1500 cannons, 200 airships, 15 giant magical mechs, all of the Magical Chaos Consortium, and leading that host, was Asterid Dragonfly.

Festivia, "The Dragonfly forces must've sent everything they have at us, but why"?

Glossaryck, "My guess is that they had spy in the castle and found out about the Twistering exile, no need to panic, because good news, with all the Dragonfly forces gathered in one place, you can use the spell and end the war here and now".

But then a stray cannon ball hits the tower, Festivia get shaken by the impact and drops the wand off the tower edge, the wand fell on the ground in the castle gate court yard.

Glossaryck, "Okay you can panic now, because bad news, without the wand you can't use the Twistering exile spell, and without the spell, the Butterfly forces will lose the war, so you may want to fly down there and get it before it's too late".

Festivia flies down towards the grounds, as she flies down, Dragonfly flyers engage the Butterfly in the sky above, and the Dragonfly huge canons fire Nargunian warriors at the wall, the Nargunian warriors tear through the wall defenders and destroy the gate, allowing the Dragonfly forces to flood in, Wisdom uses his branches and roots to engage the Dragonfly forces and to encircle the area around the gate, but then Asterid walks in, and uses her sword to burn the branches and roots, clearing a path for her army to storm the castle through; as the as battle begins to unfold in the gate courtyard, Asterid sees Festivia and immediately flies off to face her.

Festivia hovers over the ground, about to grab the wand when Asterid rams into her, flinging her to the ground.

Festivia looks up and see Asterid standing over her.

Festivia, "Hey sis, long time no see

Asterid, "I never thought we meet like this, I always thought that when we meet again, it be because you were dragged to my throne in chains, but no matter, you're still gonna be wearing chains soon enough".
