• Sienna •

Sienna once again sat in an empty parking lot, her journal open on her lap. She had reread the entry about Matt over and over again, that one sentence playing on repeat in her head. Why'd you have to go and make me love you? Surely she didn't love him. But didn't she? She felt the way her heart raced when he he hugged her and how she felt sick to her stomach when she was away from him for too long.

She ripped out the page and closed the journal. She's with Josh, not Matt. She shouldn't be thinking about this. Even entertaining the idea wasn't right. She has a boyfriend. Even if she wasn't sure it was for the right reasons. Did she even like Josh? Of course. But could she ever love Josh?

Sienna closed her eyes, leaning back in her seat. "God, why is this so difficult?"

She was pulled out of her thoughts when her phone rang from the passenger seat where she had tossed it. When she picked it up, she saw that it was Nick, not someone who would normally call her.

"Hello?" She and Nick had spoken on the phone maybe four times over the years, so if he was calling her then it was urgent.

"Hey, are you able to come over?"

"I can be there in a few minutes, what's wrong?"

"I'm gonna let Matt tell you..." He hung up the phone before she could respond, so Sienna all but floored it out of the parking lot.

~~~
Sienna had been over at the triplets house enough times to know that if the door is unlocked, she could just walk in. While she rarely did it, this seemed like an emergency, so she shoved the small amount of guilt she got from it down and walked in.
She could hear someone running around the house, back and forth from hallway where the boys rooms are to the bathroom. She followed the sound and ended up at Matt's doorway. He sat at his desk, head tilted back and a tissue over his nose.
"Ya know, you're supposed to lean your head forward if you have a nose bleed..." His head darted up, a startled look in his eyes.
"Thank you, Dr. Hollis." He tried his best to sound sarcastic, but with his nose being pinched shut it came out all nasally.
Nick and Chris walked in a second later, holding ice and more tissues respectively. "Oh, Sienna you're here. Matt, you wanna tell her what happened?"
"Not really. No."
"Matt, just tell her or we are."
"Fine, your boyfriend punched me." Sienna's jaw dropped, and it was only then that she saw the bruise forming under his eye. "He told me off for sleeping at your house last night, said I ruined the party for him because you left."
Sienna didn't know what to say. Should she apologize? She hadn't told Josh to punch him, but she was at fault to some degree.
"It's no big deal, really." Matt didn't sound like he even convinced himself with his words.
"No this is a huge deal. Matt, I can't have him going around and punching people, especially you, because I wanted to help you out."
"I mean, I kinda deserved it."
"No, you absolutely did not. Are you okay?"
"Oh yeah, completely fine. Once my nose stops bleeding I'll be 100%."
"I'll be back in like 30 minutes."
~~~

Sienna was definitely on the verge of shitting herself. She'd never had to do this before. Even if it was completely warranted, she still felt a twinge of guilt about it. She raised her fist in to knock on Josh's door, which opened a second later.

"Sienna, honey! Are you here for Josh?" Josh's mom opened the door, the two had met briefly a few times, and she was a lovely woman, which only made it harder for her to do this.

"Yeah, I just needed to talk to him really quick. I don't have a bunch of time, could you send him down?"

The woman smiled and nodded, opening the door slightly wider so Sienna could come in and stand in the front room. She stood alone for not even two minutes, while it felt like a lifetime. This was surely not what she expected to be doing on a random Sunday afternoon.

"Hey, En. What's up?" Josh walked in, instantly noticing the irritated look on his girlfriend's face.

"Did you punch Matt?"

Josh hadn't expected Sienna to find out about that so fast, or at all for that matter. He thought that Matt would have kept it quiet. "I mean, he deserved it."

"Because I brought him to my house so his mom wouldn't get mad that he was drinking? I offered it, Josh!" Technically, she hadn't offered it, but was the one who had decided to take him home.

"En,"

"Don't call me that."

"Sienna. He's been butting into our business since the beginning. I just wanted him to lay off."

"Then talk to him. I'm not going to just sit back and be okay with you punching anyone that looks at me in a way you don't like."

"Do you want me to apologize or something? Because I will if it makes you happy."

"No." She paused, her head racing with all the ways she could phrase it, not wanting it to come out horribly. "I can't be with someone who doesn't trust me, and I can't be with someone who's going to punch my best friend when he hasn't done anything wrong."

"Wait, are you breaking up with me?"

"I'm sorry, I just can't do this." Sienna turned, her hand on the knob when Josh's caught her shoulder. "Josh, please just let me go. I've said what I needed to say, now I need to go make sure that my best friend is okay."

"You're really choosing him, over me?"

"Honestly, I'd always pick him over anybody."

The door clicked shut behind her, and Josh didn't try and follow her this time, which she appreciated. As she made her way back to her car, she felt lighter, not having to deal with any of the weird love triangle drama she had accidentally gotten herself into. Now all she had to figure out was how she was going to deal with the Matt situation.

{note: finally getting to the good part, maybe there will be more drama, maybe not. kinda attatched to this book so i don't want it to end yet, but there shouldn't be too many more chapters. anyways, thanks for reading! hope u guys are happy that i finally got josh out of the picture :p xx}
