Feels like family

"ThankYou so much for taking care of her" Namjoon said to the lost me.
"Miss Lily?" he said and I returned back from my mind. "Are you okay?" he asked concerned.

"Yes yes absolutely, I'm okay..And no need to say thanks, I'm very delighted to be with Minnie" I said with a warming smile.

"Okay, then let me treat you with dinner" he offered.
"Oh my, no need Mr.Kim..I'll take my leave" I said picking my purse from the side table.
"Please Unnie, stay" "Yes, Miss Lily..its just about dinner, you shouldn't refuse a friend's request." they both convinced me to stay for dinner.

"Ok then, I'll make dinner" I said happily.
Namjoon at first didn't agree for me to bothering further more but I wanted to serve them a meal. I convinced them and they both sat on the kitchen counter table while I started making dinner.

Namjoon's POV
The last time someone made me dinner so lovingly was when my mother was alive. She would always make me food despite my sayings for maids to make dinner. I watched her as she arranged the essentials for making dishes.

"Are you two going to stare at me like that?" I said making both of them giggle.
"Well, I'll go change" he said and headed towards the stairs.
"Unnie, I wanna help you" minnie said with pleading eyes.
"No baby, this is not meant for kids..you can sit over here and see the process" I said and turned to make the food.

After some time,
Namjoon's POV
I came downstairs and saw the dinner already served and Lily was feeding Minnie. My eyes watered seeing them. Minnie never got the motherly love. Every child deserves Mother's warmth. Today, the very first time I saw that warmth for Minnie in Lily's eyes, her affectionate and loving eyes looking at Minnie softend my heart to the deepest.

Namjoon: Eating without me?
Lily: I thought you will take time to join us and Minnie shouldn't sleep past her bedtime, so I started feeding her the earliest.
Namjoon: Right thought, Miss Lily.

Wasn't it the care a mother would show towards her child? Am I falling for her?
His mind was unsure of his heart, but his heart wanted to convince his mind at all costs.

From Namjoon's eyes
I watched her pick Minnie in her arms walking inside Minnie's bedroom. I peeked inside the room to see Lily singing a sweet song to Minnie, as she tucked her inside the blanket and kissed her forehead. 'Sleep well, sweetie' she said and moved to switch off the lights.
I hurried towards the dining before she made it out the bedroom.

"I should talk to him now" she thought.
