I NEED U

By the shore of our beginning

"Oh, Wow.. we meet again Miss Lily" he said.
"Well you seem to know each other" my mom said chuckling.
"Lily, Namjoon's our new business partner." my mom said.

"Let's have dinner, since everyone's here" my dad said and we went towards the dining area.

My dad raised the champagne glass and said "Cheers to our New Start, hope we succeed."

Everyone clapped and had their meal. I was happy for them.
After dinner, my parents bid goodbye to Namjoon and I drove away too.

I sensed a car following me, I looked through my rear mirror, to see black car moving in my direction as it came sideways.
The car mirror went down and the driver called my name out, I became shocked to see Namjoon looking towards my direction..still both driving.
"Oh Mr. Kim, are you following me everywhere." I said jokingly.
"Well maybe or may not" he said chuckling.
"I was going to the Jeju beach, would you like to join?" he proposed.
"Umm, sounds good..Let's go then" I agreed and we both went to the beach.

I looked at the reflection of Moon in the clear sea, it shone bright. I inhaled deeply and took off my shoes.

Namjoon's POV
I watched her run to the shore as she spread her arms. I took off my shoes and ran towards her, standing beside her spreading my arms. Just as she stood there.

"This feels so relaxing" he said looking towards the glittery sea.
"I know, right. I used to come here with my grandma." I said facing him.
Cold water rushing to our feets, we walked by the shore.

"So, where's Minnie? You didn't bring her.." I asked him.
"Oh, she slept before I came so I left her with the sitter." he said.
I nodded and smiled at him as he smiled back.

"Would you like some drinks?" he offered.
"Oh sure" I said.

We walked around. He went to grab the drinks. I saw a small crab struggling to get out of it's crabhole. I bent down to it's level and picked it up on my palm. I caressed it's head, it clicked it's hands. Namjoon saw me holding the crab, he immediately ran towards me, handed me the drinks and took the crab from me. He played with it.

"You seem to love these, don't you?" I asked him, giggling.
"Oh yes, I love these, small creatures" he said scratching the back of his neck.
He put the crab on the sand and turned towards me.

"Here" I said giving him a drink can.
"Oh thanks.." he said accepting it.
"Well, you should smile often..It is beautiful" I said as he flashed his prettiest dimple smile.
"Like this?" he asked.
I nodded smiling at him.

"Oh! I almost forgot to mention, we arranged a collab party tomorrow evening, I would be delighted to see you there." he said waiting for my answer.

"Ah, is that so...I'm not much of a party person but It's still fun as long as you are there." I answered.

He chuckled and said "Well I can't deny the fact, your presence is cheerful too."

We stared into each others' eyes as we stood infront of the black sea that looked ethereal under the moonlight. I love this place. I felt happiness and comforted after a long time. I am happy that I accepted his proposal to come here.

"Mr.Kim, I think I should go it's quite late." I said.
"Oh yeah sure, Hope to see you tomorrow, Miss Lily." he replied.
We exchanged our phone numbers and bid each other goodbyes.

I am looking forward to meet him the next day. He's such a sweet person. I would love to see Minnie too.
