Pleasant party

I was working on my laptop sipping my coffee when my mother called me.

Mom: Hello

Lily: Yes Mom? What is it?

Mom: Daughter I called you to inform that you have to get ready by 7 for a party, your brother will pick you up.

Lily: Okay Mom..

Mom: Oh well, that was easy, you always denied coming to parties. Where are your excuses today?

Lily: Oh god, Mom I already said "Yes" to Mr.Kim that I will come. If you're done, will you let me do my work now?

Mom: She's never gonna change. Bye, you monkey.
*Hangs up*

Lily: Ah for real.

Now, let's just complete this work..then I'll take a relaxing shower. My eyes glued to the laptop screen, I worked for straight 2 hours. It was 6 by then.

"oh damn, I got only an hour left to get ready" I ran straight to the bathroom, taking a quick shower and wearing a pleasant evening dress.
I did some light makeup and sprayed my favourite scent.
"Good to go" I said admiring myself in the mirror.
After few minutes, I heard my brother's car honking..I grabbed my purse and went towards his car.

Lily's Pov
We both reached the venue.
I entered the party hall and were welcomed by my Dad. He talked to us for a while, when my mom approached us and dragged me with her to Mr.Kim.
There he stood wearing a black suit, looking handsome as always..He extended his hand for a shake, I just stared at his perfect figure.

"Miss Lily..Back to Earth?!" he said clicking his fingers infront of my lost eyes.
I flinched..embarrassed..I shook his hand.

Namjoon: Glad that you joined us.
Lily: Sure, my pleasure.
Namjoon: By the way, You look mesmerizing. *smiles*
Lily: Oh really, thanks! You too look handsome.
Namjoon: Thanks..Well have some drinks. *he said picking up two wine glasses from a waiter's tray*
Lily: Thank you.

We enjoyed each other's presence talking about random things. His personality is very appealing. I was delighted to know a person like him.
I saw minnie running towards me.

Minnie: Unnieee!!
she clapped her hands and gave me a hug.
Lily: Aww, sweetie! How are you? Wanna eat ice cream?

she chuckled and nodded, interwining her pinky finger with mine she took me to the ice cream section. She picked up the vanilla cup and ran towards Namjoon and I followed her. She started framing me and Namjoon by her hands.

Minnie: Oppa, you and Unnie look good together.
I spat the ice cream in my mouth that went straight on Namjoon's coat. My eyes widened, panicked I ran to grab some tissue, cleaning the stains.
Namjoon stood their like a statue, too stunned to speak.
Lily: I'm so sorry Mr.Kim.
Namjoon: Don't worry about this. And for her, I'm sorry..just a child act, you know. smiles nervously

Lily's POV
We went towards the dining to have dinner. Namjoon took off his coat since it was all a mess now. We had dinner together. The party was over.
I said goodbyes to Namjoon and Minnie and waved my hands to them.
I asked Namjoon for his coat so I could get it fixed. He refused at first saying not to bother myself but being my mistake I gotta correct it.

At Home:
After reaching home I threw myself on my bed, tired and exhausted of the fancy party. Not even a few minutes, and I fell asleep.

Next Day, evening
Lily's POV
I got his coat dry cleaned. Now I'm going to his house to return it.
His house was really far away from mine. I saw a big high end Mansion in front of me, like a palace. Guards keeping a watchful eye from every corner of this big ass mansion. I tried to enter but was stopped by the guard on the gate.

Guard: Yes miss?
Lily: Sir, I'm here to return this to Mr. Kim.
Guard: Sorry but we can't let you in without Mr.Kim's consent.
Lily: It's okay, just give this to him on behalf of me.
I left.

Namjoon's POV
I reached home late at night. I straight went to Minnie's bedroom to see her peacefully sleeping. I pecked her forehead and came to my room.
I was laying on the bed, trying not to overthink. My thoughts were interrupted by a gentle knock on my bedroom door.

"Come in" I said, tired.
A guard came in and presented me a package saying "Sir, a girl came earlier and told me to give you this."
Namjoon took the package and opened it to see his coat and a note saying.

"I got your coat perfectly fixed and an apology gift from my side. Hope you like it."

She gave a little crab keyring to him. Namjoon chuckled seeing it and admired his gift.
"She's too cute" he said, smiling.
He went to sleep.

Next Morning
Namjoon's POV
I must call her to thank her.

Namjoon: Hello! Good Morning.
Lily: Hello Mr. Kim. Good Morning.
Namjoon: I called to thank you for the gift.
Lily: So you liked it?
Namjooon: I loved it. Thank You.
Lily: Great.

Their conversation was interrupted by a lady's voice.
Maid: Sir, Minnie Mam's sitter will be on a leave today.
Namjoon nodded, she bowed and left.

Lily: What happened Mr.Kim?
Namjoon: That's nothing, just Minnie's sitter won't come today.
Lily: Oh I see. That must be a matter of concern now.
Namjoon: Yeah it is. I gotta arrange another sitter.
Lily: Wait, I'm free today. I can look after her.
Namjoon: No that's not right. I won't bother you.
Lily: Come on Mr.Kim, Minnie and I get together well. I would love to spend time with her. Besides I'm just getting bored at home, it would be a great company for me.
Namjoon: Well it's convincing.
Lily: Ok then I'll be there in half hour.
Namjoon: Thank You, I'll stay till you reach.
Lily: Great! Bye.
Namjoon: Bye!
