I NEED U

We're getting closer

It was about 8am in the morning when my phone rang up, I tried to get up but my body felt very sore..obviously my sleep was disturbed. It felt aching but I somehow picked up the call.

Lily: Hello?
Jackson: where you at?
Lily: Home
Jackson: I just called cus I'm coming over.
Lily: Why?
Jackson: What kinda question is that? You should welcome me *scoffs*
Lily: Welcome?! my foot.. on your face. You ruined my sleep. *whines*
Jackson: Ughhh..BYE!
*hangs up*

I got up to get ready since I know my brother would be coming at any time. I went downstairs to have some breakfast. I picked up an apple and was about to bite it when the bell rang.

Lily: So? what's the reason?
Jackson: Wanted to meet you.
Lily: I asked what is the reason? *glares*
Jackson: Uhh..Mom and Dad as you know are having a collab with a big ass company, now, they want you to help them.
Lily: For what?
Jackson: Handling their daily works. You have to join in.
Lily: Bro this is not my piece of cake, tell them.
Jackson: Lily please, they trusted me that I'll get you ready for this..please I'm sure you'll be fine, you had worked like this before.
Lily: But-
He gave me puppy eyes and the next thing I was doing to get ready to visit my workplace.

I went to my parents' company and their manager guided me to my cabin. My parent's were in a meeting with some agents.
I looked around and waited for my parents to visit me.

After about half an hour, there was a knock on the door.
"Come in" I said, my gaze fixed on the door.
"Heyy, honey" my parents entered the room.
"Hello Mom, Dad" I said politely.
"My baby, thank you so much for taking up this responsibility. You can start working by today itself."
my mom said and kisses my forehead.
"Thankyou hun, We love you" my dad said, felt like buttering me.
I smiled at them and said it back.

I sat down on the main chair and started settling up files. I was completing files, just when one caught my attention. It was of my parents new collab. I thought to handle it to them, might be misplaced here. I called my PA and asked her to give the file to my mom.
She held it and was about to open the door when the file slipped off her hands and got scattered everywhere.
"Omg, sorry mam" she gasped and looked at me with apologetic eyes.
I helped her pick it all up but that file felt different, it was like a information manual about Kim Namjoon.
It had much info about him. I asked my PA to leave, I wanted to look into the file.

Opening it I saw Namjoon's past business deal records, all from heavy revenue making companies. There was so much about his professional side, showing how hardworking he is even though all those bad things that happened to him.
I was so engrossed in reading the file when suddenly the door of my cabin opened and my mom entered in. I flinched, and yelled "Mommmm!!! You scared me. You should've knocked"
"Wait Wait, I came here to take Mr.Kim's file..It might've been left here." She said looking at my table.
I looked at her with a done face and handed her the file.
"Owieeee Thanksss babyyy" she side hugged me and further added "You dare to talk to me again like that" she shot me a glare and left.

Now I know why Dad is always like "Don't tell your mom" about everything he does.

Well I have to complete the bundles of files infront of me so I shifted my mind to work, focused for hours I completed most of the important files.
It was around 3 in the afternoon.
*Lunch Break*

Then suddenly there was a small knock on the door, enough for me to hear.
"Yes, come in" I said.
There Minnie came while inside my cabin and ran towards my table. She was holding a lunch box.
"Hello Minnie" I said and bent upto her level when she said "Unnie, I and Oppa made something for you."
Lily: You guys did? I said surprised and happy as hell.
Minnie: Yes Unnie, take a look.
I opened the lunch box and in there were decorated chocolate brownies.
Minnie: I decorated this one *giggles*
I picked up that brownie and took a bite.
"YumYum" I said dramatically because it tasted so good.
"ThankYou Baby" I hugged her as she smiled at me with cute small dimples on both of her cheeks.
Just like Namjoon have, both are so cute.

"You seem to liked them" he came in and said while moving towards us.
"Oh Namjoon" " Well, yeah they are really good..I didn't knew you could bake so well" I said praising him to which he smiled and said "Thankyou for the compliment, glad you liked them."

Namjoon: Happy to know that you are here in the company now, I will get to spend some time with you.
Lily: Aww. I said cus he was being too sweet.
Lily: Since, it's lunch break. Let's have our lunch in nearby restaurant and we'll buy some ice creams for Minnie?
Minnie: Yess unnieee she claps happily and further says "Oppa, you also join us"
Namjoon: No baby, you guys go.
Minnie: Oppa pweaseee *pouts*
Namjoon couldn't resist her and interwined her finger in his and I did the same with her other hand in mine.

We came out in a garden and Namjoon went to take ice creams since we were done with lunch, I was walking with Minnie when my eyes fell on a figure very familiar.
