"Glad for you to join us Avery" mr Harris called out once I walked into the classroom late

"I'm sorry" I apologised quietly
"I got lost" it was totally true. Although Allison did a great job of showing me around my brain couldn't process every single place and room in the school so it was hard to get to places on time when I didn't know where they were

"Just don't let it happen again. Take a seat next to stiles cause someone else is in your seat" the name stiles ran a bell from yesterday and I looked up at the name and saw stiles him raising his hand.

It was kind of a coincidence that we are both beside each other again but I didn't pay any attention to it

I walked over to him and sat down on the spare seat beside him I was directed to 

"You still don't know your way around the school?" Stiles asked and I shook my head
"I'll show you after" I smiled slightly showing my appreciation and he seemed happy with the fact I showed I liked his offer rather than an verbal thank which I was thankful for

I find it hard to speak up sometimes but knowing stiles and the way he acted yesterday he seemed like he could talk enough for the both of us and not care that I didn't like to talk as much as him. I think we'd get along just fine

"Thanks for helping us out on Friday" stiles thanked

"It's no problem, I didn't want your friend to die" the door opened and a guy came in looking pretty pale and sweaty but he made his way to his seat where mr Harrison spoke to him, lowering his voice so any nosy students couldn't listen in

"That's Jackson. He's dating Lydia" stiles told me and I nodded taking in the information

"everyone start reading chapter 9. Mr stillinski. Try putting the highlighter down between paragraphs. It's chemistry not a colouring book" stiles blew the lid that was in his mouth, into the air and caught it in his hand

"So what's up with him?" I asked referring back to Jackson

"They we're both at the place that was attacked yesterday. I guess they're a bit shaken up. Hold on" he leaned forward to another guy

"Hey Danny. Can I ask you a question?"

"No"

"Well I'm going to anyways. Uh did Lydia show up in your home room today?"

"No"

"can I ask you another question?"

"Answers still no"

"does anyone know what happened to her and Jackson last night?"

"He wouldn't tell me"

"But he's your best friend" Danny ignored him and carried on writing
"One more question"

"What?" You could tell Danny was really annoyed by his question so I'm hoping that whatever stiles asks is worth it

"Do you find me attractive?" Stiles got ignored again and went closer and closer to the edge of his seat before dropping and catching himself

Once the lesson was over I was with stiles since he offered to help me with getting more familiar with the school and he was on the phone to Scott trying to find out what happened with Lydia and Jackson and why Jackson's acting weird

"Useless" stiles muttered hanging up
"After helping you, do you want to come and check on Lydia with me?" I didn't really know Lydia that well but I wanted to check on her nonetheless so I agreed
"Perfect"

"Honey, there's a stiles and Avery here to see you" her mum said to her as she opened the door to Lydia's room
