Stiles offered me to sit beside him the next day, I guess I would class us as friends not just because of that but because he seemed to talk to me a lot even if sometimes my shyness would get the better of me and I couldn't utter a reply. Thankfully he didn't mind talking more seen as he was great at that anyways and spoke for the both of us, it worked that way. He would talk and I would listen, like clockwork

Scott came into the lesson as the bell went and took a seat behind stiles

"Hey Avery" he said and I smiled slightly at him

"Hey" Stiles told me about his dad getting hit by a car at the parent teacher conference yesterday and by that I could also see there was some tension between the 2 as Scott tried to get stiles' attention while stiles just ignored him and faced the front

"Still not talking to me?" Scott asked and sighed after a no reply from stiles
"can you at least tell me if your dad is okay? I mean it's just a bruise, right? Some soft tissue damage? Noting that big? You know I feel really bad about it right? Okay. What if I told you that I'm trying to figure this whole thing out. And.. that I went to Derek for help" stiles pulled a face

"If I was talking to you I'd say that your an idiot for trusting him. But I'm obviously imcnot talking to you"

"He was in my room last night" I blurted out and they both turned to me wide eyed

"Did he hurt you?"

"Are you okay?"

"What happened?"

"He just showed up in my room and said I smelled different than the other humans and he didn't know what it was. Then I told him to leave cause my mum would kill him and he did"

"Don't interact with him. Tell him to leave you alone" Scott's words shocked me. Apart from the fact that he broke into my room he seemed very trusting

Especially since we all tried to save Derek's life the other day so it was kinda strange how they weren't associating with him now

"What why?"

"He's just.. he's trying to get Scott to be his beta" to my knowledge i was told it was safer for werewolves to be in packs as they have some backup from hunters and any other supernatural but it seemed Scott didn't want that

"And what's wrong with that?"

Scott: "I don't want to be apart of his pack. It means I have to follow his rules and all that"

"Okay.. I get that"

"He wants you to tap into your animal side and get angry?" Stiles asked Scott as we walked out of the classroom

Scott had just finished explained what Derek had told him in ways to be able to defeat the alpha

"Yeah"

"All right, correct me if I'm wrong but every time you do that, you try to kill someone. And that someone's usually me"

"I know. That's what he means when he says he doesn't know if he could teach me. I have to be able to control it"

"Well how's he gonna teach you to do that?"

"I dont know and I don't think he does either"

"Okay when are you seeing him again?" If it tried hard enough I could probably see the gears turning in stiles' head as he thought of a plan

"Just told me not to talk about it. Just act normal and get through the day" stiles hit Scott's chest

"When?"
