The night of the formal my mum has been back and forth between torturing Derek and being home and it was getting harder and harder to watch her leave every time. I made sure when I knew she wasn't going to be there for ages that I would stop by with food and help him get some of his strength up but I couldn't do it to often as I would blow my cover

Once I had an idea that the formal was over soon I sent a message to stiles

My mum took me to Derek. He's in the holding room in the woods 312 n23 lane

I was sitting in the living room at that moment and Chris came storming in with mum and they both came into the living room and immediately Chris broke something. I got up out of my seat and moved away from them both

"feeling better Chris?"

"Don't push me Kate!" He shouted at her as she went and took a seat on the couch I was previously sitting on

"I thought it was a pretty healthy display of aggression actually"

"Why are you back here? you hate this town. I had a network of names I could've called a lot closer than you. But you called first" this intrigued me. My mum told me this town was in desperate need of another argent Hunter that's why we came but it seemed that wasn't the case

"so now you don't want my help?" She questioned

"i'm not sure that you're helping"

"oh come on I'm here to catch the alpha. Remember the one running around here and killing people at random?"

"someone said that stilinski has connected all the people back to the hale fire"

"well that's even more reason for her to know because they've always blamed us for that fire. It had to happen Derek and some other relative. But I guarantee they're cycling around us as their last targets." Chris bent down and started picking up the pieces of glass he broke

"I know. That's why you're taking Allison out of here tonight. And Avery too.. you're going to drive them to the house in Washington, and youll stay there until I call" mum laughed finding what Chris said stupid

"you're kidding me? you're going to bench your star player in the last quarter?" The glass he was picking up he smashed back on the floor and faced my mum

"get your things I want all of you on the road within the hour" Kate walked off and Chris looked to me
"I'm not kicking you out, I just want you to be safe. Do you understand that?" I nodded and he walked over to hug me

"But I want to stay" he looked down at me and sighed
"I finally have friends here uncle. I've never had friends before, and I'm happy here. With you" he looked down at me with a regretful look in his eyes

"You'll get killed"

"I would rather be killed than be in Washington with no friends and my mum. I would rather die, with my friends. Here"
