Part IX

It has been a long week, at last Saturday was here, we were finished at the coffee shop to close it.

"Where are we going today Thobias?"

"Oh, I forgot to tell you, unless you come with me to the gym, I won't be able to tour you around, I had to change my schedule of training. I'm so sorry Nina".

"Oh, it's alright, I guess I'll stay home then."
"Why don't you come with me? It would be good for you."

"Are you calling me fat?" I stare at Thobias with a serious expression just to mess with him.

"Of course not. You're perfect, after your  face and smile, your whole body is also incredibly beautiful and very sexy."

I bow my head down, blushing to his compliments.

"Thank you. I really don't want to go home, but I can't go to the gym with you, I have no sport clothes, I didn't prepare myself."

Thobias eyes sparkle like little coins. " But that is not a problem at all, at the gym there are sport clothes, we can buy them."

I look at him, hoping his kidding. Although I don't want go home, I didn't plan to go to the gym. But those eyes makes me want to say yes.

"Fine, I'll go with you. But don't push me too hard because it's been a long while since the last time I exercised".

"You know sex is an exercise?"
I look up at him, blushing to what he said. "I... I didn't know"

He laugh when he sees me blushing. "Well, let's get going then. You're going to love it"

We leave the coffee shop and we catch a cab to the gym. It is a beautiful and sophisticated building, too big to just be a gym in my opinion. We get to the reception and Thobias sign me in.

"The monthly fees are too expensive, it's half of my salary"
He laughs at what I said and nod in agreement.
"They are expensive indeed, but no other gym provides this service quality. Now let's go and start, you have to meet your personal trainer"

"What you mean with personal trainer, I thought you would do It with me"

"Oh, that's the other good part of this place. First you have to talk to a personal trainer, providing him your health information, In order to follow the right exercises to you."

As we walk in Thobias walk away leaving me with a tall and strong man who introduced himself as my personal trainer.
"Hello, my name is Elijah and I'll be your trainer today."

"Hi, I'm Nina"

Elijah looks at me for a long time after I've told him my name, as if he knew me.
But then, he makes questions about my health. 10 minutes later we start exercising, he shows me some soft movements.

"Sorry, Elijah, I know this is your job, but these exercises aren't going to make me sweat at all"

He laughs, but before saying anything he is called.
"Keep on this, I'll be back shortly with some tougher things"

He walks away, and I keep doing what he told me. Few minutes later I hear footsteps approaching behind me.

"I heard you wanted some tougher exercises. I'm Noah and I'll be assessing you while Elijah is away".

Before turning to face him I take deep breath's. I'm frozen I can't move. I can't believe this is happening, out of all the places on earth, why is Noah here. I know this is him, I felt his scent when he was approaching me.
I turn around slowly, and when our eyes lock into each other, I freeze completely.

"Nina!"
"Noah!?"
After saying his name everything goes blank, I fall on the ground. I couldn't stand being there, seeing him so close to me after all that happened, I was too embarrassed.

"Nina, Nina, wake up"
I slowly open my eyes, I'm laying on a couch and Noah is there with me.

"What happened? What are you doing here? Are you following me?"

Noah, laughs but then his face gets unreadable.
"As always, you fainted, I guess the exercises weren't that soft after all"

I keep myself quiet, and I slowly sit up on the couch. "Why are you here Noah, why do I have to bumb into you always?"

"I wish I had the answer. But well, this one of my family gym"

Without saying anything I stand up and walk to the door, Noah calls my name, but I keep walking to the door that seems to be so far. But before I reach it, it swings open, and Elijah walks in. He looks at me and then at Noah.

"I see you woke up already, but I think you should go back and sit, let me run few exams before you go".

Before I could say anything, Elijah walks me back to where Noah is standing. They look at each other and then Elijah start asking how I'm feeling, regular questions to know if I'm okay.
"Well, you seem to be alright. I hope you don't quit coming here. I'm going to call your friend to take you home."

"I'm fine, and I can walk. I'll go with you" I say it standing up and walking to the door. Elijah looks into Noah's eyes who been quiet since Elijah came in.

"Please Nina, wait here. My friend will stay with you, you're in good hands. I won't take long".

I stare at Noah, who is now sitting on the couch. Elijah walks out of the room. And as soon as his out, I count to three, and follow him back.
Noah rush to me and grab my arm.

" Let go of me"

"Please Nina, wait. I need to talk to you"

"I have nothing to talk to you, please let me go".

Noah free my arm, but rush to the door blocking it.

"You don't have to talk, just listen. I know you are mad, but there's no need to be mad. What happen that day..."

Before he finish, I walk close to him and I furiously tell him to stop talking.
"Nothing happen that day. You kidnapped me. I didn't need your help at all. But you forced me to got to your house, to humiliate me, I never wanted your money as that woman said".

"I know and I'm sorry. That is what I want to explain, can I take you home?"

"No! I don't want to be near you. You don't have to explain anything. Just forget that you ever met me."

"So you want to pretend that nothing happened? I see you nervous here, you can not say that you aren't attracted to me as I am to you."

Noah is so close to me now, I can feel his hot breathe on my skin, I got so lost in his scent I didn't notice him holding my arms. But wait, did he just admit that he is attracted to me?

"I don't care, just leave me alone".

I push him away, any minute longer, I know I wouldn't have stopped anything he'd do to me. I walk back to the couch and he follows me. Before I notice he's right beside me, he grab my waist with one hand and pulls me close to him, the other hand touch my face, I can't move.

"Noah..."
He lean close to me, his lips almost on mine, when a knock on the door makes him let me go.
Elijah and Thobias walk in.
Before anything, I run to Thobias and he hugs me, I whisper into his ear, asking him to take me home.
We walk out without looking back.
