Part V Meeting him again

"Well, I was driving through and suddenly you appeared in front of my car, luckily I stopped and didn't hit u hard"

"Oh, I'm so sorry"

"It's alright. Are you feeling alright? I can take you to the hospital."

"No, I'm fine, just my elbow, but I'll be okay"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes... Umm, I'm fine".

"Alright then. We should stop meeting this way though".

"I'm so sorry, I... I didn't..."

I can't finish the sentences, my eyes are tearing by remembering that my dad wanted to send me away, that he didn't need me anymore.

"I really think I should take you to the hospital, just to make sure you're 100% fine."

"Please, don't bother, I've given you too much work already, I'm fine".

"But Nina, you're bleeding."

I touch my elbow and the tips of my fingers are filled with blood, the pain is unbearable , I fake a smile, just to show him that I'm fine.

"It's really okay, sir.... I mean, Noah. I'll be fine."

"Let me take you home at least."

"NO!" I shout out.

"Okay, I won't take you home then.."

"I'm sorry... I just.. I can walk, you don't have to take me there. I was actually exercising, I can run back home"

"You were exercising in skinny jeans and sandals?"

I should have thought of a better lie, I didn't pay much attention to the clothes I was wearing. And I panic when I remember that I didn't comb my hair when I woke up this morning, and my face must be horrible.

"Hum... yeah... It's something normal where I come from... Well... Hum. Thank you and I'm sorry, I hope I meet you in better circumstances next time. Bye."

I shut the door and start walking fast. My eyes become full of tears again. I take my phone out of my pocket and dial Julia, but she doesn't pick up.
I speed a little bit more until I reach a small park. I Sit down with my knees to my chest, next to a little garden with flowers that reminds me my mom. I wrap my arms around my knees and bury my head between them and the tears comes harder.

A hand touch my neck, I quickly rise my head, I open my eyes and see Noah standing next to me.

"Please sir, I need to be alone, I've thanked you already, I told you I'm fine, please go away"

Noah looks me in the eyes, and once more I feel seduced as if I was caught in a strong spell, I feel like I can't look away, his touch and his scent have a powerful control over me.

"You don't have to tell me what's going on. Let me just fix that elbow before it gets infections"

"You don't have to..." He frowns his face as if what I was about to say would frustrate him .

"You have said 'no' too many times, and I hate no as answers. Don't make me carry you."

"But I've said that I'm fine, and..." He doesn't let me finish, in matter of seconds he places me in his shoulders, and start walking to his car"

Noah's POV

I don't know what's going on with her, but something tells me I shouldn't leave her like this, I'll take her home and take care of that elbow.

She's so fragile, so tiny. Seeing her hurt and sad makes me feel uncomfortable, but I can't deny that carrying her in my shoulders is killing me. Her skin so soft, her scent so near me... Come on Noah, control yourself.

"Hey, hey... Can you hear me, put me down, where are you taking me? Put me down right now, or I'll start screaming."

" Stop being a brat, I'm just trying to help you."

"I don't need your help, put me down right now, Noah, put me down."

"I will help you anyway, I don't care if you don't need my help".

"Who do you think you are, you can not do this, I'll call the cops. Put me down Noah"

I ignore her, and I keep walking to my car. What kind of girl is this? I just want to help her, obviously she wasn't exercising, and she doesn't want to go home, probably something happened there and that's what she was running like a mad witch .

"Noah, I said put me down!!". She yells.

Nina's POV

Noah, put me down quickly and pushes me into his car, I try to escape, but he holds me into his arm tightly, and he tell the driver to start the car.
I start screaming, he shuts my mouth by placing his huge hand on my mouth, the other hand holding my waist tight so that I don't escape.

Oh my God, is this how I die, why he's doing this?

"Stop screaming Nina. I'm gonna let go, but don't try to run, the car is moving, you can get hurt. Do you understand? "

I nod yes, I could understand that that was a command, and it set fire in my body, though I'm scared, because this man is literally kidnapping me, still I obeyed. He let go of me, and comes real near me, pulling the seat belt on my side and buckling it. The rest of the trip we sat silently until we get into this luxurious mansion where the car stopped.

"Come on , let's go inside".

I hesitate, still admiring the house, this must be the richest neighborhood Theresa told me about, and I should be careful with the wolves, do this rich people have them as pets? I've seen lions, snakes and crocodiles as pets, but wolves?.

"Or you want me to carry you inside?"

I roll my eyes and get out of the car, standing beside him, the car continues and disappear in a huge garage with other luxurious cars.
I hear Noah's steps getting further away, as I realize that I was still standing at the same place watching the car.
He stops and looks at me, I hurry and reach him.

"Why are you doing this? What is this place, what do you want from me?"

"This is one of my family houses, but this In particular is mine. I don't want nothing from you, you can't offer me much, even if you had"

"That's rude. So why are you kidnapping me?"

"I'm not being rude, just realistic. And I'm not kidnapping you. You have no use for me. I'm just trying to help you"

"Hey, okay, I get it, I've no use for you. So why are you trying to help me? you don't know me."

"So you only help people you know? Is that also a normal thing from where you come from?"

I blush remembering the stupid lie I told him before. Nobody in the world runs in skinny jeans and sandals.
As we reach the door, he opens and lead me in. My mouth drops, this is something I only see in movies, the sofa has the size of a king bed, the TV is three times bigger than the one we have home, the kitchen is incredibly big with the most modern gadgets.

He stops at the top of the stairs and calls my name. I walk to meet him but he also continue walking. And when I reach the top, I stop.

"Come on in, don't make me go there."

I've never been in a room with a man, I've never been alone in someone's house before. I have to play tough, I can't let him realise that I'm panicking.

"I thought you said you just wanted to take care of my wound, what are we doing here?"

"You can sit on the bed, I'm going to grab some first aid kit for that"

He wants me to sit on his bed, oh my goodness. I wonder how many girls he brought in here.
