Sophie POV
*Previous night*

I can't believe Noah abandoned me here without even telling me he was leaving and where he was going. He's not answering my calls, nor my messages. How could he possibly leave me in the middle of such important business. Elijah definitely knows what's going on, and I'll make him tell me.

"Elijah"
*oh uh, Noah always leave me behind to clean his mess, or to deal with demons like Sophie*

" Yes Sophie, are you enjoying the party?"

"I would be enjoying the party if my pair didn't abandon me without notice."

"Oh, Noah is gone already?"

"Don't act like you don't know it Elijah, I know you're his best friend and right hand, you know everything about him, even in which nostril he is breathing now, now tell me where he was."

"I really didn't know what or where he went."

"If you don't know, that means it wasn't work, nor a family issue."

"Maybe it's something personal."

I still think Elijah is lying to me, there's nothing Noah does that he doesn't know, but I'll figure it out. I can't be humiliated like this.

"Sophie"
I look back and I see Elsa, Elijah little sister coming to my direction.

"Elsa, hey... are you enjoy the party?"

"Yes, I'm. It's a shame Noah left. He seemed to be in hurry, do you know what happened?"

"I don't. I also don't know, he didn't tell me anything, he simply abandoned me here."

"Oh, it must be serious. He left right after talking to that man in his office."

"What man?"

"That one, the one next to the painting in the corridor, he came with an envelop and handed to Noah."

"Did Noah leave with the envelop?"

"I think it is in the office."

Noah will hate me if he founds out I went to his office and looked to his things, but since he's not answering any of my calls and messages, I need to know what made him leave the party like that.
I enter Noah's office without being noticed, but the envelop is nowhere to be seen.
It has to be here, I look around everywhere and I finally find it. This papers has nothing to do with work or anything related to his family. Why is Noah's digging this girl past?
After looking closer to the photo, I realise I've seen her somewhere, not longer I remember I saw her at Noah's house.

*Next morning*

I'm going to find this girl and ask what she wants from him, if the money he gave him back at that day wasn't enough.
After few calls here and there, I know where she is, and also that it was her he ran to yesterday, she was the reason why Noah abandoned me, to be with her? She's probably threatening him or worse.

"Yes! I'm Nina, what are you doing here?"

"I'm Sophie"

"I know, what do you want?"

"Why are you being so aggressive? I know I didn't leave a good impression the first time we met, but I'm here in peace and I'd like to talk to you."

"Talk to me about what, I barely know you"

"Invite me in first Nina, it's going to be a long conversation"

"What is it about?"

"Noah!"

Nina's POV

What does this girl want? Talk to me? All of a sudden? I barely know her, and how did she find out where I was? I would understand if she had appeared at my house, but here?

"What about him?"

"Don't act like that. I know you were with him last night."

"Yes, I was... and?"

"You better lower that tone, you don't know who you're talking to Nina"

"You're Sophie, I know who you are, I just don't understand why you came all the way here to  talk about Noah."

"Do you know for how long I've known him?"

"Why would I know?"

"Exactly, because you're nothing to us. I've known him all my life, and we've been together since then."

"And what does it has to do with me? I'm not understanding"

"Stop acting stupid, I know he left me yesterday and ran to you. What do you want for him? Is it money? Tell me you prince and I'll pay you so you can stay the fuck away from us"

"Again? You're giving me your money. Do I look like someone who needs money?"

"Obviously!"

"I didn't know he was with you yesterday, I didn't even know he abandoned you to be with me."

"Stop lying, tell me what you want."

"Nothing, I've told you."

"Stop playing innocent. If you don't want anything then stop calling him, stop seeing him, he is mine."

"Well, since he's yours, you tell him to stop looking for me. Because he is the one who has been chasing ever since I came here."

I can see that Sophie is really mad, and it's about to explode. Noah said they were not dating, but I'm sure that she has feelings for him. Because if she came all the way here to tell me all this nonsense she must be very jealous.
Before Sophie says more silliness, the doorbell rang again, this time is definitely Julia. I open the door, and Julia hugs me tightly. And without saying a word Sophie leaves the apartment.

"Who was that?"

Julia asks looking at Sophie from top to bottom, with that look on her face she always gives when she dislikes someone.

"Just a crazy bitch, don't worry about her"

Julia comes in, and I tell her about everything, including about all the times I bumped into Noah.
She couldn't see him properly yesterday night, but I told her that was Noah, and her chin dropped.
