It's a fairy creature that is described as a beautiful, youthful woman with eyes like thunder, some describe her to have either large white bird-like wings or large butterfly wings. They can shift into the form of horses, snakes, falcons, wolves and swans. Since she can shift her form, I imagen she can change her wings as well. Apparently, it's believed that their power resides in their hair. (Pictures)
