Storsjöodjuret This creature lives in Storsjön located in Östersunds, Sweden.
This beast is most often described as a giant snake-like sea creature, reaching lengths over 10 meters long and up to a meter wide, and the beast also describes to have two to three humps on its back. Its head is said to be a small dog-like head with distinct ears and large eyes. The beast isn't simply a long snake-like creature, It is also described to have two short front legs with long hind legs, which appear to have flippers. This beast's scales are described to go from a dark blackish grey into a greenish grey, sometimes it's described to have black scales dotted along its body.
The beast can be curious at times and has a tendency of following boats around its home, the Östersunds storsjö lake. If you try and get close to the beast it'll get startled and open its gaping mouth, showing its large forked mouth as a scare tactic. (Pictures + Rune stone)
