Chapter 6 - More

His eyes went wide, but he smiled sweetly as he inched his face closer to mine. I closed my eyes on reflex, waiting for his lips to be on mine. I slowly got on my tiptoes to be taller. Our lips collided and I got lost in the moment. His lips were so warm against mine. He smelled like cinnamon and vanilla.  His lips slowly brushed against mine, but I wanted more.

I wrapped my arms around his neck while I felt him wrap one arm around my waist and the other rested against my head to deepen the kiss.

-That wouldn't be such a good idea, love. He replied. You have training tomorrow, and you're drunk. If we ever do it for real, I want you to be sure that you actually want to do it. Doing it now would feel like I was taking advantage of you. He admitted.

I whined out loud as he chuckled. He grabbed my blanket and covered me with it all the way to my shoulders. He gave me a sweet kiss on the forehead.

-Sleep now, Naru, he said with a smile.

I blushed at the nickname as he stood up to leave. I grabbed onto him again and pulled him to me as I sat up. I pecked him on the lips and lingered a little more than I should. He pulled back and we exchanged small smiles before I laid back down, closed my eyes and fell asleep almost instantly.
