I woke up with all of my limbs feeling sore. It took me a while to open my eyes. My ears were still ringing and my eyes were met with only darkness. At first I thought that I was going blind, but no. I was really stuck in darkness.

I tried to get up, but I felt a chain wrapped around my left ankle. I tried pulling on it as silently as I could, but it wouldn't budge. I tried for what seemed like ten minutes before I heard movement outside my prison. I rapidly laid back down, pretending to still be knocked out.

What seemed like two guards passed by my cell. I could barely make out what they were saying as they were whispering.

-The people of the Leaf village won't know what hit them. A male voice said.

-We're leaving tomorrow, we will make it in three days right? A female voice said.

-Yep, the first one replied.

I was freaking out. They were planning on attacking the village! I had to get out, get Sasuke and go warn everyone as soon as possible.

-Looks like he's still out. He looks pretty weak, the first guy said talking about me.

-Yea, well. The other one is being questioned as we speak. Lord Orochimaru will be pleased. The girl said.

Just as she said that, I heard a yell coming through the halls. My entire body froze as the hairs on my body all rose. I had goosebumps everywhere as my eyes filled with water. SASUKE! I had to get out of here.

I closed my eyes and breathed in. I felt something snap inside of me. When I opened my eyes, I was at the same weird place I sometimes woke up at. I walked down abandoned halls until I stumbled upon a room. There was a cell on one side with a paper keeping the doors closed. I felt an immense amount of power. Two orange eyes lit up in front of me. A sinister smile appeared seemingly out of thin air. The nine-tailed fox! His red chakra emanated from his body as it came towards my own in a swirl. I felt my body absorb the power.

I snapped my eyes open. I was back in the cell I had been, but anger rose through my body. I couldn't calm it. My vision got slightly orange colored as I stood back up, the ninja long gone. I walked to the front of my cell, the chain easily snapping behind me. I put my two hands on the bars and pulled with all my might.

The metal crinkled and turned in my hands. It finally broke down and I walked in the direction of the screams. I heard another one, nourishing the raging fire inside of me. I turned a hall, landing face to face with two ninja. One was in the cell with Sasuke, the other one keeping guard.

They barely had time to react to the fact that I was there before I inexplicably got down on all fours and charged at the one keeping guard. I slashed him with my claws right on his face. He screamed in pain as I lunged at the bars of Sasuke's cell. He looked right into my eyes. He looked in pain. I didn't understand what was happening to me, but his eyes calmed me down in a way.

The one inside of the cage grabbed Sasuke and tried to protect himself with his body, angering me even more. I was too fast for him. I broke the bars in a matter of seconds and pounced on the walls, arriving behind the enemy ninja. He didn't have time to turn around as I started to kick him around the room. He bounced off the walls easily. I finished him by slashing at his back.

I walked closer to Sasuke, I broke him out of his chains and examined him quickly. He had slashes on his forearms and he was stabbed in the thigh, but other than that, he seemed to be in good condition.

I felt the anger inside of me subside, but I couldn't let go of it completely, we still had to get out of this maze-like prison.

I took Sasuke by the hand, being careful not to hurt him with my claws. He used his sharingan to try and find a way out of here.
I could smell the salt of the sea. I followed it as much as I could, ending up facing a wall.

I focused on making two shadow clones. I pushed Sasuke aside to not injure him. I extended my arm and both clones and I started conjuring a rasengan. When I deemed it strong enough, I threw it at the wall. The wall exploded in a ton of bricks and dust. I hurriedly brought Sasuke close to me again and we ran.

We ran through the forest and I only stopped when I felt like Sasuke needed a break. He pulled me in for a quick kiss and I felt the anger die down. The orange colored lenses were gone. I saw the world normally again. I kissed Sasuke again, but I knew we couldn't stay there long. We had to get back to the village as fast as possible.

I picked up Sasuke again. He was in a bad state. I didn't know how I could carry him rapidly enough all the way to the village.

I got to the port and snuck us onto a boat. I knew I couldn't trust anyone. Sasuke was in and out of consciousness and we arrived at the other port after what seemed to be an eternity. Everytime I heard the slighted noise, I was convinced someone knew we were here. I was beginning to be completely paranoid.

I left the ship discreetly with Sasuke. I ran to the forest to get some coverage. I had one shot at this, and it needed to work.

I bit my thumb and put my hand on the ground, trying to conjure Chief Toad. To my biggest surprise and relief, he appeared beneath me.

-Okay Chief Toad, I have an emergency. You have to take us back to the village as fast as possible! I said confidently.

-I ain't no taxi, kid.

-Listen, Chief Toad. The village is in danger. I can't run there quickly enough and Sasuke is hurt. The future of the Leaf depends on you!

-Alright, alright. I hope you're ready, he warned before jumping up in the sky.

I held onto Sasuke tightly, and held onto the toad even tighter. I was tired, And I just hoped I wouldn't run out of chakra by the time we got there.

The ride was extremely bumpy and very unpleasant, but I could see how fast we were compared to if I had to walk. The night was falling rapidly as I continued to hang on and hope that everything would be okay.

There! A long chapter. I'm proud of myself!
