"Goodnight Mona."

It's been a few months now, and things were going smoothly for Tord and Mona. Agnes and the twins were settled comfortably in Oslo, Mona visiting them every week. So far, Tord hasn't heard a peep from the Yellow Army, which was both relieving and unnerving. "So Tord..." Paul starts, lighting a cigarette. In a private setting, Tord's closest soldiers were known to use his first name. "When are you going to properly propose to Mona? Better yet, when are you going to plan the wedding?" Tord stops writing, eyes wide. "The wedding!" He screeches. "I completely forgot about the wedding! How could I?!" Patryk sits a small cup of coffee in front of his leader. "Well, these past few months have been pretty hectic...new recruits, a few more soldiers from the Yellow Army, going with Mona to her weekly family visits..." He lists off, sipping a coffee of his own. Tord sighs, nearly downing his cup. "That's no excuse. Especially with how I treated her with my official proposal." Paul lets out a snort, earning a glare from Tord. "Still...all of this will require some actual planning. However..." Tord purses his lips and Paul looks over. "However?" "However, I've already got a mission planned for this coming week." He stands, walking to the one wall with nothing on it. He reaches up and pulls down a screen before grabbing a small remote on a nearby file cabinet. "Paul, the lights." He switches the lights off, Tord clicking a button on the remote. "I had a small lab built into the wall of my old room in the house of a...friend I used to live with." He clicks the remote, a picture of a room appearing on the screen. It looked almost similar to his current bedroom (minus the trophies and framed pictures of his fame) but one of the walls was missing, revealing a lab. "This is the lab I had built, but I'm afraid an important item was left behind in the rush of my leave." He clicks the remote once more, bringing up a blueprint. "I lived in that house since I was 16, moving out roughly two years later. The robot was something I was tinkering with before moving in, but the project grew into something bigger." Tord smiles proudly. "With my own technology helping the process, I finished an 85 foot robot in time to leave back here to Norway."

There is a moment of silence before Patryk speaks up. "But sir...what does that robot have to do with anything...?" Tord lets out a laugh, causing Patryk and Paul to go on guard. "I want to be an unstoppable force! If I can get my hands on that robot, there's no telling what I can accomplish!" Tord stops laughing immediately, eyes dark. "But there's one thing standing in my way." He clicks the remote and a picture of three men pops up. They look like they were good friends, joking around and seemingly roughhousing. Tord walks to his desk and retrieves a laser pointer, walking back to the screen. "These are my ex-flatmates. This one," He shines the small red dot onto the ginger who wore a purple hoodie and a green overcoat. "Is an idiot. There isn't much to worry about with him. This one," The dot moves to a brunette with a green hoodie. "Is also an idiot. But he's still a threat to me if I get on his bad side." "How so, sir?" Tord clicks off the screen for a moment before bringing up a newspaper article for the UK about two men with radioactive powers who were fighting and tearing up a small portion of London. One of them looked like the brunette in the green hoodie from before. "Sure, he wasn't someone I would have wanted to fight unprepared before, but whatever gave him these powers is absolutely not something I want to deal with." Patryk and Paul look at each other before Tord continues. "But this one..." Tord brings the picture of the three men back up, the dot now on the man in a blue hoodie. "This one is the threat. There is no compromise with him, he will find any way to fuck this plan up." He nods to Paul, who clicks the lights back on as Tord turns off the screen. "So...your mission is—?" "Retrieving the robot? Yes." Tord turns and Patryk looks to Paul. "What about Mona?"

"What about her?" Tord asks, looking through the papers he was working on earlier. "Well...this mission has the possibility of going awry..." Patryk fiddles with his fingers nervously. "What should we do if...y'know...something happens to you?" A question like this would usually result in a disciplinary action, but Tord knew Patryk was only worried about him and Mona. Especially Mona. From what he had seen, his right hand men had become brother-like to her, which warmed Tord's heart knowing his friends and his fiancée got along. Tord lets out a sigh and stands. "Nothing should go wrong but...in the event that something does, I want you two to come with me. I'll leave Ivan in charge, as he is one of the only soldiers other than you two I trust to run this place in my absence." He purses his lips in thought. "...And I suppose Mona can tag along...I know it isn't convenient but I don't trust leaving her here by herself." Paul raises an eyebrow before Tord continues. "I don't trust some of these soldiers with a woman who can hardly defend herself." The two relax and Tord smiles. "Get packing, boys. I'll be spending a while in England while I find a way to get that robot out." Patryk and Paul salute before exiting the office.

Tord finds Mona in the mess hall, eating with Ivan. Mona looks like she's having a blast, talking the Corporal's ear off. Ivan didn't seem to mind it though, listening intently and nodding every so often. Tord finds the gesture oddly endearing, knowing Ivan has a small tolerance for people. "Good afternoon, min liten kanin." Tord coos, hugging Mona from behind. She jumps, then giggles when she hears Tord's voice. "Finally out of that dingy office of yours?" Mona teases, making Ivan snort a bit. Tord chuckles and kisses her head. "Yes my love, but I have some news. For the both of you, actually." Ivan turns and faces Tord in confusion. "For the both of us?" Tord nods and smiles at the two of them. "I have a new mission coming up, around next week. Corporal Volkov, you will be my fill-in until I come back." He turns to Mona. "And you my dear, will be coming with me." Mona looks a bit uncomfortable. "I won't...have to fight anyone...will I?" Tord shakes his head. "Absolutely not. There shouldn't be any fighting if this mission goes as planned." She smiles, standing up with her empty tray. "It's a deal, then!" Tord walks with her as she returns the tray to the kitchen. "So where is the mission gonna be?" Mona hums and Tord smiles. "In the UK. More specifically, London."

"I'm only going back to get something I left behind..."
