"This mission should be finished by week's end."

The past couple of days had been...hectic to say the least. Something about Tord became more...sinister than Mona remembered. Every little interaction with Tom would result in a fight, just like Edd had feared. Eventually Tord runs Tom out of the house, the blue clad male seething as he slams the door. Mona looks to her fiancé in disbelief, wondering where this behavior was coming from. "Tord...can I talk to you outside?" She asks, gritting her teeth a bit. Tord looks over from consoling Edd, smiling at his love. "Of course, darling." He pats Edd's hand before standing and following Mona out to the back deck. Once they are outside, Mona whips around with a glare. "What is your problem?" She hisses softly, causing Tord to hold his hands up in defense. "Whatever do you mean, min kjære?" Mona huffs in annoyance, turning her back to Tord. "Your...Your attitude is horrible! You've gotten so...so aggressive these past few days and now you run Tom out of his own home? What has gotten into you?" She asks sadly, turning back around to face her fiancé. Tord sighs, wrapping an arm around Mona (despite her moving from his touch). "I'm only doing what I have to, Mona. It will all be worth it in the end." Mona smacks Tord's arm away from her, making the man jolt in surprise. "Is losing your friends really worth all this? They seem like good people and you're treating them like trash! You're so...so...ugh!" She throws her hands up in frustration before pulling out her phone. "Mona?" She ignores Tord, dialing a number and putting the phone to her ear. "Mona Johansen-Theordorsen. What are you doing?" As terrifying as it was to hear Tord use her full name, she continues to ignore him until the line stops ringing. "Patryk? Can you and Paul come get me? I don't want to stay here anymore." Tord's eyes widen as she walks back inside. "Thank you. I'll make sure this doesn't come back on you two."

Edd frowns as Mona comes down with her bag. He stands upon seeing the look she has. "Mona...is everything alright?" She turns to the brunette, smiling sadly. "Yes, everything is fine. Just...I'm going to stay at a hotel with some friends for a day or so." Edd tilts his head, taking Mona's hands into his own. "What's going on? Did something happen?" Mona peeks behind Edd to see Tord watching them intensely. Mona huffs, looking back to Edd. "Someone's attitude isn't what I want to put up with so I'm going to get out of the house for a while." Edd begins to panic, squeezing Mona's hands. "Was it Tom? I'm so sorry, he—" "It's not Tom." Mona says quickly, gently pulling her hands from the brunette's as she hears a car pull up. "It was really nice getting to know you all. Maybe we can pick up where we left off once I come back." Edd smiles sadly, nodding. "Yeah...that would be nice."

Mona puts her bag in the trunk of the rental car, humming a soft lullaby to herself as she makes sure she has everything. She waves to Edd and Matt before glancing at Tord. His jaw was set and he had his arms crossed. Yeah...she was going to hear about this later but she didn't care. She didn't appreciate how Tord was acting and she was not going to put up with it. She gets in the back seat, buckling in. "Thank you two for coming to get me. I appreciate it." The two men look at each other before Paul turns to face Mona. "Is everything okay? Why are you leaving the house early?" Mona shakes her head, messing with her nails. "I am not putting up with Tord's attitude. If he wants to do this mission, fine. I'm not going to be a part of it anymore." "What...exactly happened?" Patryk asks and Mona sighs. "He just...he changed. Like, a lot. He ran Tom out of the house! Han oppfører seg bare som en drittsekk!" Mona shrieks, once again throwing her hands up in frustration. "I'm sure if he asks them nicely, they would give him whatever stupid thing he's there for!" Patryk and Paul look at each other once more before driving back to the hotel.

Back at the house, Tord was pacing angrily outside. His left eye was twitching, something that only happened when he was stressed out. His one and only form of a distraction just ditched him because he was a little mean! How could she, after all he's done for her?! He pulls his phone from his pocket, dialing Mona's number and pacing more. The line stopped ringing, signaling that she answered. "Mona? What in the hell has gotten into you?! We are in the middle of a mission here!" Some silence before she answers. "I don't care. I don't like how you're acting and I refuse to be a part of this grand scheme in hurting your friends! OUR friends!" Tord growls. "Mona, I might as well be your husband at this point. You tell Patryk and Paul to turn that damn car around and bring you back." "No! You will not boss me around and you sure as hell won't bring those two into it! I might as well be your wife at this point!" Tord could feel Mona's smirk through the phone. "They're simply following orders that I've given them." He clenches his fist. "If you don't get back here right now I'll—" "Or you'll what? Hurt me some more? I'd rather put up with a few more bruises than hurt people I consider friends." Tord lets out another growl, eyes narrowing. "How could I have allowed myself to choose a useless wife?" Silence before the line goes dead. Tord has to shove his phone into his pocket to prevent himself from throwing it down onto the hardwood deck. "I can do this without her."

Mona drops her phone, tears running down her face. She slides down the wall beside the hotel room door, sobbing into her hands. How could he say that to her? She thought they were getting along just fine and...she was doing what she thought was right. Was that useless like Tord had said? The hotel room door opens, revealing a frowning Patryk. "Oh Mona..." He whispers, sitting on his knees and opening his arms. Mona leans into him, still crying. "Am I really that useless...?" She whispers and his eyes widen. "Did he...? Are you serious?" Mona nods and Patryk growls. "Don't worry Mona. Once this mission is all over, I'll have a nice heart-to-heart chat with Red Leader." He smiles sadly and helps Mona stand. He gently picks up her cell phone and hands it to her. "Why don't we go back into the room and order room service? I'm sure you're hungry and want some rest." Mona sniffles before smiling at Patryk.

"Yeah...that sounds nice, Pat."
