Rewrite of "We All Go Through Shit"
We all have trauma
So we shouldn't compare who goes through worse
We all can experience similar trauma in life
And the sad thing is we're all butchered
All those awful names we get from our traumas from others
"Oh she was raped?"
"She must of been asking for it"
"It had to be her fault"
"Such a slut"
"No way was he abused"
"Guys are the abusers"
"He just wants attention"
"She just wants attention"
"The person their accusing would never"
Victims are butchered
For things that actually happened to them
Men are always told that they have to be tough and aren't aloud to show their emotions
Women are taught to respect men but not always the other way around
Some parents just don't raise their kids right
But that still doesn't give the excuse of all the monsters out there
The world is so corrupted even with rich people
Them being rich enough for bails
Them getting released earlier than their sentences
So many innocents go to jail while the real monsters roam free
Because they ended up having backup
We all go through things that no one should go through
Some feeling they have been through several lifetimes of pain
Living with an abuser for a long period a time
Not being able to leave for years
And when they get out
They have so much trauma
And for the ones who escape earlier
Still have so much trauma that may never be fixed completely
Time can't even really be compared or how many times
One time is all it takes
To have your conscious shattered
To hate yourself
To feel disgusted
To feel used
Just feeling so broken
Needing to be fixed
And some can never be fixed
Only can be helped to bear with the pain
So many victims
Men and women
Boys and girls
Even animals
The truth is humans are monsters
Just some of us choose to not be
To not hurt others
To be kind and loving
For the ones causing pain to us good ones
Don't deserve us
We deserve so much better than pain
We deserve to be loved and cherished
Monsters and demons
Fuck off
Leave us alone
Let us live peaceful lives
Sure life isn't perfect
But we don't need your trauma
We say we don't want to take that trauma back
Because it made us who we are
But that makes it sound like we're giving them credit for who we are
We were already amazing before you
You caused pain
Yeah we learn from it
We should learn from the things in our life
And yeah it does make us stronger
But we shouldn't of had to go through it in the first place
Victims this message is for you
You are strong and did not deserve what happened to you
Don't let their words haunt you
You're strong and beautiful
Don't give them credit
You were the one who made you strong not them
They just seemed to be a terrible obstacle in your life
That you can overcome with the ones who love you
Life is cruel but you will find your beauty
Even if it seems you are the only beauty in your life right now.
