🖤Falling for the Football Star
Chapter Three
Previously on "Falling for the Football Star": "Now? That's good. That means we're comfortable with one another." He smiled his cheeky smile as he watched Skyla slowly close her eyes, falling asleep. He listened to her breathing softly with a small snore. "How cute." He chuckled as he drifted off to sleep not long after her.

When Skyla woke up, she saw a sleeping Isaac on her phone straight across from her. She stared at him was a small smile tugged at her lips. She notices how attractive Isaac is as she looks at his long eyelashes down to his small lips. The more she looked the more embarrassed she got, noticing his shirt was gone.
While she was lost in thought she didn't hear Lily sneak into her room. She came up behind Skyla and peeked at her screen. "What the" Lily startled her as she widened her eyes before hanging up the phone.
"Huh- where did you come from?" Skyla asked, sitting up from the bed with rosy, red cheeks.
"You're imagination. Now, what was that about-" Lily changed the subject, putting her hand on her hip as she tapped her foot like an impatient parent.
"Well, um- I called him last night since you didn't answer and I thought Chris was asleep," she mumbled softly.
Lily sat on the end of the bed as she looked at her best friend curiously. "Will you be honest with me about something?" she questioned, humming slightly.
"Of course! Uh- what's up?" Skyla asked with her head tilted slightly. "Do you like Isaac? As more than a friend?"
"What!" Skyla squeaked out. "No! No way!"
Lily giggled at her reaction. "Alright if you say so-" before she could continue the nurse walked in and smiled at the two of them.

"Good morning, ladies," she said walking in. "Glad to see you up Skyla, how are you feeling this morning?"
Skyla let out a small smile. "Better than yesterday. Oh um- I noticed last night that I have a sore on my bottom lip, almost like a cut?" the nurse walked closer.
"Can I take a look?" she nodded up at her while puckering her lips out slightly for a better view. The nurse examined the cut before looking at the monitor. "Okay, I'll let the doctor know. For now, let's take you back for your final tests then we'll get you ready to leave after the results come back." She smiled softly at her before walking out of the room.
Lily stood up from the bed and looked at Skyla's lip as well. "That stupid prick." She mumbled however Skyla could still hear her which made her giggle slightly.
"It's okay, Lily." She smiled at her friend who was very protective over her. "Thank you for worrying about me."
Lily reached up and ruffled her hair slightly. "Of course, I will always worry about you, you're like my little sister." she smiled softly.
Not long after the nurse came back pushing a wheelchair into the room. After helping Skyla get the blood pressure cuff and heart monitor off, she helped her into the chair, hanging her IV bag on her chair. "Alright, we'll be right back." The nurse spoke to Lily before taking Skyla out of the room.
After an hour, Isaac and Chris show up at the hospital this time in separate cars. Once they arrive at Skyla's hospital room, they only find Lily sitting in the chair looking up at the ceiling, bored. "Hey" Isaac spoke, making Lily jolt.
"Geez! You scared me." she grabbed her chest, laying her hand against her face dramatically which made him chuckle.
