You groan, rubbing your hands over your face. "I dont know Nick."

"You don't know? You don't know if you love me?" He asks and you shake your head.

"No, I know that. I dont know how long I can keep this up." You say and Nick's features soften.

"I know y/n, its only for a little bit longer." He sigh, moving towards you and cupping your face.

"I hate this." You mumble, leaning into his head.

"We only have to pretend for a little longer. Then you can be mine." He whispers leaning in, but just before your lips meet the door to the room opens and you quickly pull apart.

"Fowler, Y/n." The captain says, nodding his head.

The two of you nod back and he sits down.

"This mission is critical. The drive is in Rio, the two of you would need to pose as a happy couple." The captain sighs. "I know you two hate eachother, but you need to put your differences aside and work together to retrieve the drive. The whole world depends on it."

You let out a fake annoyed sigh. "Can't I chose my own partner? Mine sucks" You groan and Nick rolls his eyes.

"Oh what a coincidence, mine sucks too."

The captain sighs, placing his hands over his face and leaning his elbows on the desk.

While he's not looking, you shoot Nick a smile and he gives you a wink before looking back at the captain.

"Could you two just do this one thing?"

You and Nick both let out exaggerated sighs before nodding.

"Fine." Nick grumbles.

The captain nods at him before turning to you. "Y/n?"

You look at Nick then back at the captain letting out another sigh. "Fine."

"Great, now get out. I'm sick of your childish bickering."

The two of you nod before getting up and walking out of the the office.

Once you're out of sight from everyone Nick turns to you with a smile. "This is perfect."

"How so?"

Nick grabs your hand, swinging them as you walk down the hall. "Because, once we get back we can be together. Everyone will think we gained feelings through the mission." He smiles.

You smile back and nod. "That is perfect."

The two of you get closer to the main hall where everyone is and unlock your fingers.

Just as you're about to walk into the main hall Nick smacks your ass and you turn back to see him smirking at you.

You playfully roll your eyes and continue on your way to the main hall.
