In a world where you and your soulmate have the same tattoo's on your wrist.
———

You've seen many videos of people meeting their soulmates, also seen it in real life too.

To say you were jealous was an understatement, 26 years old and you still haven't found your "other half" and quiet honestly, you've given up on looking.

Your parents always told you about the day they first met, they've told you so many time you're almost positive that you can say their story word for word.

There are also many stories of people who never actually meet their soulmate, or they find pictures from before they were born and find a person in that picture that matches their tattoo. That's the saddest part about it. Your cousin was looking through year books from the 80's only to find out her soulmate graduated that year and is now married to another soulmate less women.

Curious, is what everyone liked to call the men and women who have never or will never meet their soulmate.

And right now you were considered a Curious.

Its nothing to be ashamed of, its completely normal if you dont find your soulmate, its just the fact you're the only person you know who hasn't met their other half.

"Earth to y/n?" Your best friend waves his hand infront of your face and you smack it away.

"What do you want Johnathan?"

He sighs, shaking his head and pointing to your wrist. "Staring at it isn't going to make your soulmate magically appear."

"I know."

You grab an apron and wrap it around your waist before grabbing a pen and note book. "I'll wait the next group." You mutter and he nods.

Working at a restaurant had its perks, you get to see alot of people and every time, you would check their wrists just incase they have a tattoo that matches yours.

But it also sjcks because 80% of the people wear long sleeve shirts and you never get to see their wrists.

Johnathan pats you on the head when a group of guys walk through the door and head to a table. "Look!" He whisper shouts and you turn around. "Holy shit." He mutters.

You nod your head. "Holy shit indeed."

Sat at a corner table was Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen and Sebastian Stan.
All of whom are very popular actors and actresses, and just so happen to be in your favorite movie franchise.

Everyone always wonders is their soulmate is a famous person, but they cover up their tattoos for anything to do with publicity, musical artists cover up when they have concerts and actors and actresses cover them up whenever they're filming a scene or at an interview.

"Aww look at how cute they are." Johnathan points towards Chris and Scarlett. Everyone's favorite soulmates.

"I know- but we have to be professional." You say, wiping your hands and grabbing the pen you put on the counter. "I'll wait them, you watch me just incase I faint."

Johnathan nods and sends you a salute before you make your way over to their table.

You make it to their table and send them a bright smile. "Hello, I'm y/n and I'm your waiter for today. Can I start you off with some drinks?" You say and your calmness shocks yourself.

"Hey! Uh could I get a margarita?" You nod and go to write it down but Scarlett stops you. "Make that two, please." You nod again and write a small ×2 next to it.
