One week later.

"Dad! Wake up!" Amalia smiles, shaking her father.

Sebastian groans and turns to her. "Whats up?"

Amalia sends him a bright smile. "Lets go to the park, do something! You've been a bummer all week."

Sebastian smiles softly before shaking his head. "Not today Lia, I don't feel like going to the park."

Amalias eyebrows furrow. "C'mon dad, lets go to the beach and get ice cream like we did with y/— like we used to." She says, almost punching herself for almost letting your name slip.

Sebastian noticed her slip up and smiled softly at the memories, you would always force Amalia and himself to go out to the beach on a nice day.
Amalia would pretend to hate it, but she secretly liked it. You just never knew that.

"Alright then." He whispered and raised from the sheets. "We swimming? Or just ice cream?"

Amalia shot up and ran to her room. "Swimming too!" She yelled, racing to get her swimsuit and a towel. 

Sebastian chuckled and shook his head at his daughter before grabbing his own towel and swim trunks.

The two made their way outside to the car and before Sebastian took of he grabbed his phone to call you. Until he remembered the two of you weren't together anymore.

So he cleared his throat, started the car and backed out of the driveway. Pushing all thoughts of you as far away as he could.

Amalia looked at his phone with sad eyes. Now she knows why he's been so down lately. He misses you.

After a 30 minute drive they finally made it to the beach and Sebastian exited the car, leaving his phone in the middle console.

Amalia was about to follow him but she stopped. "Hold on! You find us a spot and I'll catch up."

Sebastian looks at his daughter before nodding and heading to an empty spot on the beach.

Amalia sits in the passenger seat of the car before grabbing his phone and unlocking it with her birthday.

She scrolled through his contacts until she found the name she was looking for.

You walk along the beach, the breeze blowing through your hair as your feet dig into the sand.

You feel your phone vibrate from your back pocket and you quickly grab it out looking at the contact.

Sebastian 💖

You never changed his name after the break up.

Confused you click accept and bring the phone up to your ear. "Hello?"

"Y/n! Hi!"

The girls voice fills your ears and you back up from the phone confused, checking to see if you read the contact right.

You bring the phone back to your ear. "Amalia?"

"Yup, thats me!"

You are beyond confused. "Is everything alright? Is your dad okay?" You begin to worry thinking that maybe something happened to Sebastian.

"No- yes! He's fine. I just— i wanted to apologize."

"Apologize? For what?"

"For everything, i know I was being a total bitch to you and I'm sorry."

"Language, and its okay. Its not your fault. I would've dont the same." You smile softly.

"Can you come to the beach? Dad misses you and I know you miss him to by how quickly you answered your phone."

You smile and look around. "I'm already here."

"Oh great! We're in our usual spot, see you soon!"

Before you could answer she hung up on you.

A chuckle escapes your lips before you make your way towards the familiar area.

"Y/n?" A voice sounds from behind you and you turn to see Sebastian standing there.

"Sebastian."

A small girl makes her way towards the two and they turn to her. "Oh great! You're here already."

There's no sarcasm in her voice like there used to be and Sebastian looks at her confused. "You knew she was coming?"

You nod. "She called me actually."

Sebastian looks at you softly before turning to Amalia. "Why?"

Amalia lets out a small sigh. "I know I fucked up." Sebastian gives her a look and she smiles slightly. "Sorry– messed up. And I'm sorry. You were both happy and I just wasn't having it." You look at her with furrowed eyebrows. "I'm sorry, for everything Y/n. I want to start over." She steps forward and holds her hand out. "I'm Amalia Stan."

You chuckle and shake your head, taking her hand in yours. "Y/n L/n."

Sebastian watches the two shake hands and smiles softly before walking towards you. "Sebastian Stan." He whispers, taking your hand and pulling you towards him and connecting your lips.

Amalia coughs loudly, causing you and Sebastian to separate with small laughs.

"Okay, as much as I'm happy to see you happy. This is still weird for me."

You smile and Sebastian ruffles Amalia's hair. "C'mon Kiddo, lets get ice cream."

Sebastian takes your hand and interlocks your fingers and Amalia leads the way to the ice cream shop, bright smiles on everyone's faces.
