Chris opened the door to your apartment, quietly stepping in and closing the door behind him.

He hasn't seen you in person for over two years, he's over excited to finally be home.

Placing his bags down he looks up at the clock, checking the time.

1:38 am

You're probably asleep.

He tiptoes through the dark apartment and towards your bedroom, slowly opening the door and peeking in to see you sleeping soundly in the fluffy covers of the bed.

He smiles softly looking over your peaceful state before walking over and wrapping you in his arms, laying on top of the covers, burrito-ing you in the blanket as he hugs tighter. "Y/nnnnn" he whispers into your ear.

You stir, groaning a little.

He chuckles. "Y/n, wake up honey." He whispers, kissing your neck.

"Chris, go back to sleep." You grumbles still half asleep and he smiles.

"Wakey wakey darling. I'm home."

Your eyes snap open, realizing what what happening. "Chris?" You ask, looking up at your boyfriend of 6 years.
"Chris!" You yell happily wrapping your arms around him tightly, him letting out a laughbefore you release the hug and give him a kiss. 

"Surprise." He chuckles and your eyes are tearing up. "Hey, why are you crying?"

"I missed you." You say and he smiles, wiping a tear away.

"I missed you too baby." He says, kissing you again this time with more passion. The two of you haven't kissed in so long.

"I can't believe you're back. You told me it'd be another few months, maybe a year." You say and he shakes his head.

"I lied."

You hug him again, rolling over so you're on top, laying your head on his chest. "I missed you so much."

"I know." He wraps his arms around you. "I missed you more, trust me." He kissed the top of your head.

"I love you." You whisper and he smiles.

"I love you too." He whispers back and you two fall into the best sleep you've ever had in 3 years.
