Chapter 34 - "It's Massive!"

**Monday Afternoon**

Ivy had spent the morning composing and thinking about what to put into her resignation letter to Nick and after five attempts she had finally been happy with it and sent it off. She would be in next week to collect her stuff from her office.

She was now currently finishing her packing ready for her early evening flight to Seattle to see Shannon.

He had left Denver early Sunday morning like he had said he would be and she had flown back to LA that afternoon.

Whilst she was excited about going to see Shannon and staying with him for a whole week, she was also very anxious about it because it would be the first time they had ever spent any amount of time together and she didn't fully know what to expect.

Messaging Shannon, she typed:

'What kind of clothes am I packing for up there with you? X'

'Nothing 😃X'

'Not helpful Shannon. I have a rain jacket I'm guessing I'll need to bring with me.
What else? Jeans, sweatshirts? X'

'A bikini 😉 Xx'

'Jesus Shannon, are you really that sex deprived. Why am I going to need to bring a bikini with me to Rain City? X'

'I have a hot tub. Plus, I want to see you in one X'

'Right. Leave me alone you pest. X'

'I'm deeply hurt by that comment. I might have to spank you 😏 X'

Ivy laughed and tossed her phone onto her bed ready to focus on packing for her trip.

**Later That Evening**

Ivy had managed to collect her suitcase and wheeled it out with her hand luggage to the Arrivals area.

'I've just arrived. Where's your sexy ass? 🤤 xx'

She messaged Shannon. It wasn't long before she got an incoming phone call from him so answered it.

"Hey, I'm out in Arrivals. Head towards the valet area."

"Ok sure. Am I going to need to put my coat on?"

"Yeah probably, it's raining outside at the moment. "

"Ewwww gross!" Ivy huffed.

"Welcome to Seattle, babe." Shannon chuckled, "You better get used to this?"

"Oooorrrr you could just move back to somewhere warmer. Like LA?"

She got to the double doors that led out to Arrivals and paused quickly to pull on her coat and brace herself for the Arctic tundra that awaited her.

Walking out she glanced over at the signs hanging up and tried to find the one that read 'Valet', when someone crept up behind her and placed their hands over her eyes. Ivy shrieked.

"BOO!" The person said.

A smiled formed on Ivy's face before she muttered. 'You're such an ass.'

Shannon chuckled before removing his hands and leaned in to whisper, "I'm so glad you're here." He whispered into her ear.

She spun around to face him and stood on tiptoes and kissed him quickly.
