Shannon and Ivy quickly snapped their gazes in the direction of Shannon's now open truck door.

"What the fuck!" Shannon exclaimed angrily.

"Shannon. We need to talk!" A voice snapped.

Shannon groaned loudly, throwing his head back against the car headrest, exasperated.

Ivy felt him move his hands to place them on her thighs and rubbed them gently, before she softly pushed them away and slid off Shannon's lap, back into the passenger seat.

Reaching down to the side of the driver's seat, Shannon felt around for the button to push his seat back into an upright position, then climbing down from his truck, leaning across to Ivy and passing her his truck keys, which had his house keys attached.

"Go let yourself in. I'm sorry about this." He gave her a kiss and she kissed him back.

"Shannon!" The voice snapped again.

"Alright! Fucksake!" Shannon spat back. He watched Ivy climb out of his truck as well and slowly make her across his drive and up to the door. Once she was inside, he spun on his heel and turned around.

"For fucksake Jay. Did you really need to fly all this way just to have another go at me, I mean aren't you happy enough with the damage you threw at me earlier?" He turned and lent with his back against his Jeep, arms folded across his chest and shouted at his younger brother.

"Well I wasn't getting any sense out of you earlier, so I thought I'd pay you a visit."

"You can't just rock up at my place like this Jay, whenever you feel like it."

"Well I was trying to tell you, but you seemed a little 'preoccupied'. He tilted his head to the side and looked at him.

"Don't put the blame on me Jay. I know why you're here."

"And what reason would that be?"

"Don't bullshit me Jay. I know you like her."

Shannon watched his brother for a while before continuing. "Admit it. You're jealous. You're jealous that I'm with her and you're jealous because for once I'm happy and you don't like it!"

Shannon watched Jared's jaw twitch at his words.

"I thought you two couldn't stand one another?"

"Yeah well we did what adults do and we talked about things."

"That's what I'm trying to do with you Shan."

"No you don't! You're here to stick your nose in and ridicule me like you always do, Jay, and I've had enough!" Shannon pushed himself away from his truck and stalked off towards his house.

Jared ran after him and managed to catch the door before it closed and followed the hallway down towards where he heard two voices coming from Shannon's kitchen.

As he got nearer he could see Ivy with her back to him facing Shannon who was gesticulating wildly about something.

Ivy was still just as beautiful as he had remembered from all those years back when they had been best friends and spent their days goofing around.

He thought he must have heard Jess wrongly that Ivy, Ivy Kapinski was going to be filling in for their videoshoot instead of the original girl; Beth, Bonnie, Brittany or whatever her name was. It was so forgettable that he didn't even care.

Watching her interact with his brother on set, he never would have guessed that there had been something going on between the two of them. When had that started? As far as he had known, Shannon couldn't stand her. They had always argued, or Shannon had thrown insults at her; that was one of the reasons he and Ivy had grown so close.
