Chapter 21 - Confusion

**After the Shoot**

"And CUT everyone! That's a wrap!" Jess called out.

Cheers went around the room from cast and crew.

"Drinks are on us." Jess's boss, Matt told everyone. "Meet us down in the bar in an hour." He announced, checking his phone and closing down his laptop.

Ivy climbed off the bed and went and found her gown to pull it back on, when she became aware of someone standing behind her and heard Jared then say.

"Thanks for today Iv. You did an incredible job."

"That's OK Jay." She turned around to face him, tying the robe and smiled at him.

"So, er..." He rubbed the back of his neck. This was something Ivy hadn't seen Jared before; shy. She frowned at him. "I-I was wondering if you'd like to get a drink with me. T-to say thank you for all your hard work." He added.

Ivy was slightly shocked. Was this Jared asking her out? Or was this just him being friendly and sincere? Either way. She was confused.

"O-oh, thanks Jay, but erm...I-I'm pretty tired. I think I just want to get home and have a shower, then head to bed." She fiddled with one of the cuffs to her gown whilst standing in front of him.

"Oh. OK. Well, erm...let me go and get changed, then I can give you a lift home."

"It's OK Jay. I've arranged for an Uber to come and collect me." She gave him a smile, cringing about lying to him for inside.

"Well. I hope you get back safely. Let me know when you get home and stay in touch Ivy."

"I will do Jay, and it's been great to see you again. You should be so proud of yourself." She lent in and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"See you again soon Ivy." He kissed her on the cheek as well and ran a hand down her arm.

"Iv. You coming for drinks with us?" Jess shouted to her across from the other side of the room.

"I think I'll pass, but I'll see you tomorrow for our girl's day with Emma. Let me know when you get home safely."

"Oh really!" Jess pouted at her.

"Yeah. I'm shattered, sorry guys."

"Well take care then."

"Will do!" Ivy waved goodbye to them all and made her way back to her room to change.

She got into her room and sat down on the bed, reaching for her phone and messaging Shannon to let him know she was done with filming. She did feel bad about turning Jared down, but Shannon had asked her first.

"Great. Want me to pick you up at the same place I dropped you off at this morning? X"

"Please. I should be ready in about 20. X"

He replied with a thumbs up, so she proceeded to get changed back into her clothes.

"Hey Iv. Jay said you could keep all the lingerie from the shoot. If you'd like to." Jess's voice floated through the door.

"OK. Thanks."

"Maybe you could wear some for Shannon, when you fuck him."

Ivy paused in pulling her top on over her head and walked over to the door and opened it.

"Jess. Please just stop it. Shannon and I are just friends, and always will be just friends. So please. Just drop it." She walked back into the room and made to slam the door behind her, but Jess came in after her.
