6. Survival Game Day 1: Reunion

I bid goodbye to my bestfriend as I ran off towards east of the city..

[Flashback]

"3 days." I said.

"Huh?" tanung niya.

"3 days lang tayo maghahanap ng survivor.." paliwanag ko.

"3 days?! Well, put that aside, bakit kailangan pang magkahiwalay tayo?" he asked.

"Well, if we go in different directions baka mas maraming buhay ang maisalba natin." paliwanag ko.

"Fine...." YES! Sumang-ayon siya.

"Here are the rules, survivors na dapat natin mairecruit ay dapat hindi infected."

"That should be obvious."

"Yeah... symptoms of infections are pale white and dry skin, hoarse voice, reddish eyes and rashes."

"Copy"

"Conditions, on the 3rd day of Survival, I'm gonna meet you at Blankpoint Bridge at the end of the city at sunset..."

"Okay... but wait anung mangyayari kapag nagkita na ulit tayo?" tanung niya...

Napahinto ako ng ilang seconds at tumingin sakanya, nakita ko na ang mata niya, very hopeful, he's expecting that we're gonna escape this nightmare...

"Well, I'm not sure If I'm gonna stay up alive, but after that, we're gonna find our way out of this country..."

"I'll agree on this, pero may kondisyon ako.."

tinignan ko siya, mata sa mata.

"What?" tanung ko dito

So ayun nga ang nangyari...

 I'm travelling alone, with nothing but equipments, brr.

"Sana naman walang mangyaring masama." I whispered to myself.

Clearly, asa east side ako ng Gladford. This is the second to the last city na nageexist before mareach ang Provincial Boundary.

The boundary is not just an ordinary boundary. For everyone's knowledge. Mayroon itong wall, which is made of pure and refined steel, na 70 inches thick at 65 ft. ang taas. Aware naman na si Victor sa mga ito kaya ang kailangan namin ay magmadali. Which baka magkaroon ng permanent lockdown ang city, pwede din nila ito sigurong ipurify mismo, ang ipinagtataka ko lang, nakarating na ba ang Virus sa boundary? Well if that's the case, maybe there's no way out.

Pero kahit na, kailangan pa din naming makipagsapalaran.

Naglalakad ako sa highway, napakatahimik, kung papansinin mo, walang walang tao, walang ingay, nakakabingi.

Para bang ikaw na lang ang taong nabubuhay sa mundong ito.

Ang buong siyudad na minsang napakaingay, ay parang sukdulang namatay. Nagkalat ang dugo kung saan, lahat ng mga buildings sira sira. Basag na salamin, sasakyang nabangga, ang karaniwang makikita dito.

At siyempre, zombies pa pala, kaso kaunti lang sila, hindi na muna ako nagaksaya ng panahon sa kanila, kasi, mabagal lang naman ang galaw nila, at madali lang silang matakbuhan.

Pero mahirap na, niready ko na ang katana.

Zombies are kind of lethal. In some ways,  they can remain standing even though you have dealt them several damages. In every video game's boss, there is probably a weakness existing, same goes for the zombies. They are vulnerable in any kinds of attack, e.g. stab, smash and shot, but organs such as heart, stomach and lungs are invulnerable to those assaults. All of them has a certain kind of weakness- the Nervous System.
