Being the new girl to school isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Most people just ignore you, i mean obviously you get the odd snowflake who tries to talk shit about you..
But honestly, i get that at nearly every school I've been at.
It just.. doesn't bother me.

——
I wander to class, passing a few people. Second period.. I'm on my way to chemistry. It's my least favourite subject to be honest. Im more of an artist.
My headphones are on, I'm listening to California dreamin' just minding my own business, I catch a glimpse of myself in a classroom window, and jump a little when i see someone stood next to me.

"Hey new girl." Some guy said smugly like he'd just made a funny joke, i just scoffed and turned my music up.
Although he insisted on taking to me,
"Whacha listening to?" He almost shouted, ripping the headphones off me, shocked and pissed off, I snatched them back and slapped him hard in the face.
"HEY- what the fuck was that for?!" He said wiping a little blood from his nose.

I was honestly shocked by my own actions, i just stared at him, stifling a little giggle.
"What the hell are you laughing at you little freak.." he said in a breathy voice.
"Uh oh.." i breathed before breaking into a fast sprint through the corridor.
I didn't get far before the guy caught up with me and almost pinned me against the wall,
"You try that again you little bitch.."

I calmly met his gaze.
"Your breath smells like fish."

"Uh- JASON CARVER." A loud shout came from a female teacher.
Seeing this as my opportunity, I quickly scurried away to class, laughing as i left this Jason dude behind for a good scolding.
Damn, my first day and I've already started drama with someone. Look at me go.

Lunch finally came around, obviously I didn't have any friends, so i sat proudly at my own table, gazing at the gross looking food on my tray. Im not sure if it was pizza or not- i wasn't about to eat it anyway. So i just sipped the milk from the small carton.
"I'd rather people watch anyway." I muttered

Looking around the lunch room, i could see that most people were separated into their different groups. I could see the basketball table, with that Jason guy on it. I feel it would be better if i just avoided him for now.
My attention was turned suddenly when i heard a loud clash, some guy with long curly hair had jumped up onto the table and started walking along it.

"This should be interesting."
He loudly started to talk.
"But as long as you're into band, or.. science or.. partiessss.."
i followed his look to see a guy in sunglasses flipping him off.
"Or a game where you TOSS BALLS INTO LAUNDRY BASKETS." He shouted, looking at the basketball table.

"You want something freak?!" Jason shouted.
Guess he has a habit of calling people that.

I looked closer at the shirt the guy was wearing, it seemed that the whole table had matching ones on.
"Hellfire club.. huh. Looks like some sort of boardgame club. Seems like fun. I like DnD." I don't play often, sometimes with my brothers friends, I've found that I'm quite good at it. Maybe i could join their little club. That could be fun.
But to be honest, I'd rather not socialise.
