After the vigil, Mufasa had to accept that his dad was gone and that he had to take his place. He hugged Sarabi as she grieved over her sister's death. "Are you ready, Sarabi?" Asked Mufasa. "Ready whenever you are", said Sarabi. They went to Rafiki. "We're ready", said Mufasa. Rafiki nodded and led them to the den that was formerly Mufasa's dad's den. "We'll do the ceremony tomorrow", said Rafiki. Mufasa and Sarabi nodded and hugged each other. Meanwhile at the main den, Scar and Sarafina was laying together. Azizi ran to Scar crying. "What now?!" Asked Scar.
"Where did my mommy go?" Asked Azizi. "I don't know. Go ask someone else", said Scar. Sarafina looked at Scar. "Now Scar, that wasn't a very nice thing to say to him. He just lost his mother", said Sarafina. Azizi ran to Mhoto. Mhoto comforted him. "Wherever Mufasa is, tell him that me, Azizi, my daughter will be going and tell him I appreciate the home he gave us", said Mhoto. "Sure thing", said Sarafina. Mhoto walked away with the two cubs. Diku and Dwala waved at their family goodbye as they left. Sarafina sighed. "I'm so worried about Mufasa and Sarabi. They're too young for this", said Sarafina.
"They'll do fine. Don't worry", said Scar. Sarafina kissed Scar. Nina walked to Sarafina. "This pride has gone downhill. I'm sorry but please tell Mufasa that I need to retire before something bad happens to me", said Nina. Sarafina nodded and walked to Mufasa's den. "Hey I just wanted to let you know that Mhoto, Azizi, and Ãnanda left and that my mom wants to retire", said Sarafina. Mufasa nodded. "Okay. Tell her that she can go the Elder's Den now and make sure she's comfortable there", said Mufasa.
Sarafina nodded. Mufasa sighed and looked at his mate. "I will never be a good king like my dad", said Mufasa. "Mufasa, don't say that. You'll be good, I promise", said Sarabi. Mufasa hugged her. "I love you so much", said Mufasa. Later on they fell asleep, Sarabi woke up anxious. She walked to Rafiki's den. "Hey Rafiki", said Sarabi. "Hi", said Rafiki. Sarabi smiled. "I know you're not comfortable with Muuguzi's former den. We do have an abandoned tree if you're comfortable there", said Sarabi. Rafiki smiled. "Thanks Sarabi", said Rafiki. Sarabi and Rafiki walked to the abandoned tree. "Wow. It looks so nice and beautiful", said Rafiki.
"I know. Rafiki, I haven't been feeling well lately. I don't think I'll be well enough for the coronation", said Sarabi. "That's nonsense! You might just have a stomach bug. That's all", said Rafiki. Sarabi sighed. "Well, Sarafina says it could be pregnancy but there's no way me and Mufasa would be parents after his dad's death", said Sarabi. "Do you want to take a test?" Asked Rafiki. Sarabi nodded. "I want to wait until tomorrow morning because I don't want to stress Mufasa out", said Sarabi.
"Okay understandable. Thank you Sarabi", said Rafiki. Sarabi smiled and returned back to the den. She went to sleep. She woke up seeing her sister Naanda smiling at her. "Hi Sarabi", said Naanda. Sarabi cried and hugged her. "Sister", said Sarabi. "Sarabi, be prepared for what's coming in the future", said Naanda firmly. Sarabi was confused. "Huh?" Asked Sarabi. "Sarabi, there will be a bad future coming. You must be able to overcome it", said a familar voice. She turned around and saw her grandma. Her grandma was young and beautiful.
"Grandma! What's going on?" Asked Sarabi. They didn't answer but she woke up. She got up and noticed it was morning already. Mufasa was already up. She immediately ran to the Rafiki's tree to find Rafiki. Rafiki was there waiting for her. "Rafiki, I dreamed something weird", said Sarabi.
