Chapter Five

Sarafina sobbed on Nina's shoulder. "Mom, do you think I messed up letting Scar into my life?" Asked Sarafina. "Honey, you didn't know better. I'm sorry he hurted you. I'll help raise the cub if that's okay", said Nina. Sarafina smiled. "Thanks mom even though I don't deserve you raising my own cub", said Sarafina. "Don't say that. You're going to be a mother for the first time. Of course, you're going to need some help raising the cub. If Scar isn't going to be in the picture, then I'll help. Even if he will be, I'll still help. You're my daughter", said Nina. Sarafina hugged her.

Sarabi came in to check on them. "Sarafina, is everything okay?" Asked Sarabi. Sarafina nodded. "Are you sure? I know you're upset about what Scar said about you. I heard about it. Mufasa exiled him", said Sarabi. "Really? Who's going to help me raise my cub?" Asked Sarafina. Nina purred. "I'll help. You're my daughter. Of course, I'll help you raise the cub", said Nina. Sarafina cried. "I wish Ajabu was here to help me! He wouldn't call me fat!" Said Sarafina. "But he left you as soon as he found out that you were pregnant with Scar's", said Sarabi. Sarafina sighed. "He didn't leave me. He passed away. Scar offered to help raise the cub with me. I did fall in love with him but it was a mistake", said Sarafina.

Nina and Sarabi was shocked. "So Ajabu is the true father of the cub?" Asked Sarabi. Sarafina nodded. "I was going to tell him that I was pregnant but he soon later died. Scar said a hyena got a hold of him but I can't figure out why he still hangs out with them", said Sarafina. "That sounds very shady", said Nina. Sarabi was suspicious but stood silent. She hugged her. "I'm so sorry that this happened to you. You deserve the best", said Sarabi. Sarafina sobbed but calmed down. Sarabi smiled. "Sarafina and Nina, don't tell noone this but I'm expecting too", said Sarabi. Sarafina was shocked but hugged her.

"Wow. I had no clue", said Nina. Sarabi smiled. "It's okay", said Sarabi. Sarafina soon felt her first kick. "Oh! I feel the first kick", said Sarafina. "I remember your first kick in my belly like it was yesterday", said Nina. Sarafina smiled and Mufasa came in. "Sarafina, is it okay that I speak to you for a second?" Asked Mufasa. Sarafina nodded and walked with him. "Are you sure that you're okay?" Asked Mufasa. Sarafina nodded. "Why wouldn't I be?" Asked Sarafina. "Well because I mean my brother did insult you and I do apologize for what he said. He is exiled and I do hope he learns his lesson well", said Mufasa.

"I hope so too", said Sarafina. "I was kind of thinking of building a nursery since everyone is kind of pregnant", said Mufasa. Sarafina smiled. "You will taken great care of while you're in that nursery and I will make sure", said Mufasa. "Thank you for everything you do", said Sarafina. Mufasa nodded and smiled. "Sarabi is very worried about you and I am too. I hope you feel better soon", said Mufasa. Sarafina nodded. Later on, Mufasa built the nursery right by Rafiki's tree. Mufasa lead Sarafina, Diku, and Dwala. "This is the new nursery. Rafiki will take great care of you guys", said Mufasa. Diku and Dwala laid down while Sarafina was walking around.

She was anxious about the nursery but she eventually laid down. She felt a kick but she giggled. "Settle down, little one", muttered Sarafina.
