Mufasa and Sarabi went to the Elder's Den to pick up their son but saw Sarafina waiting for them with Nala and Simba. Sarabi embraced her son. "How was the storytime?" Asked Sarabi. Simba yawned. "Boring", said Simba. He took one glance at Nala. "Goodbye Nala", said Simba. "Bye Simba", said Nala. Simba walked into his den. "Wow. He must be very tired from your mother's stories", said Sarabi. "I tried telling her that but she doesn't listen", said Sarafina. Mufasa was distracted. Sarabi tried to get his attention but he was still distracted. "Mufasa!" Said Sarabi. Sarafina and Nala waved Sarabi goodbye and went home.

Mufasa finally came back. "Sorry. Did you say something?" Asked Mufasa. "Did you notice something about Simba and Nala? How they said goodbye to each other?" Asked Sarabi. "Yes that's what I was distracted about but there's no way they could be bethrothed. They're cousins", said Mufasa. Sarabi looked at Mufasa. "Mufasa, Nala looks more like Ajabu more than she looks like Scar. Ajabu is definitely her father. Sarafina admitted it too", said Sarabi. Mufasa was shocked. "You hid this from me?" Asked Mufasa. "I'm sorry that I did. I really am", said Sarabi.

Mufasa hugged her. "It's okay. I just don't understand why she would lie about Scar being the father when Ajabu was the father. Is that why Ajabu ran away?" Asked Mufasa. Sarabi started tearing up. "No. He passed away. Sarafina told me that Scar witnessed his death and that he was killed by hyenas", said Sarabi. "I'm so sorry. We'll see how Nala and Simba's relationship will be later on and we can decide if she's truly the right queen for him", said Mufasa. Sarabi embraced him and went inside the den and held her son.

Meanwhile, Mufasa saw a lioness up far walking with two cubs by her side. He walked to her. "You do realize you're in Pridelands territory, right?" Asked Mufasa. "I'm so sorry. I didn't realize. I was so exhausted from walking all day. I just needed to take a rest here please and I'll be gone by the next day", said the lioness. Mufasa nodded. "Come with me. You and the cubs can rest in our main den for now", said Mufasa. "Thank you so much, sir", said the lioness. Mufasa smiled and looked at the cubs.

One of them had a golden-yellow fur color and had his mother's blue eyes while the other one had darker tan fur like his mother and dark brown eyes. The mother smiled. "Where is my manners? My name is Penda. These are my two cubs Tojo and Malka. We were chased by rogue lions", said Penda. Mufasa was shocked. "Oh my. I am so sorry. Would you like to live here? We have cubs for your kids to be friends with", said Mufasa. "Thank you", said Penda. Mufasa led them to the main den. He introduced them to everyone. Everyone welcomed them except for Scar of course.

He laid down ignoring them but Penda wouldn't stop looking at him. It was like she was scared of him but she ignored him. Sarafina smiled at Penda. "Welcome Penda. You will love it here. I made a nest nice and clean for you and your cubs", said Sarafina. Penda smiled. "Thank you so much. I really appreciate it", said Penda. Sarafina nodded and saw her two cubs Tojo and Malka. She smiled. "Hey, I was wondering if you would like your cubs to meet our cubs at the waterhole tomorrow. Especially the prince. The prince will love to play with them", said Sarafina.

"Of course", said Penda. Sarafina smiled and they all fell asleep.
