A few days passed by and Simba opened his eyes. Sarabi and Mufasa watched them open. They were red like his father's but the eye shape was just like his mother's. Rafiki came into the den. "Ready for the presentation?" Asked Rafiki. Mufasa and Sarabi nodded. Everyone was notified that the prince was born. Every animal walked to the Pride Rocks to see his presentation. Rafiki held Simba high up for everyone to see and everyone was happy. During the presentation, Mufasa and Sarabi noticed everyone was there but Mufasa's brother Scar. "Where's Scar?" Asked Sarabi.

"I don't know. I'll talk to him when his presentation is done", whispered Mufasa. Sarabi sighed and saw Rafiki give Simba back to her. "I'll watch Simba. Go ahead and talk to your brother", said Sarabi. Mufasa nodded and called Zazu, the new majordomo after his mother's retirement. They both went to look for Scar while Sarabi embraced her son. Her son giggled. Sarafina walked to them with Nala. "I thought Simba would like to meet Nala", said Sarafina. Nala looked at Simba out of curiosity. "Hello", said Nala. Simba giggled at her.

"Why isn't she saying anything?" Asked Nala. "Nala, this is the prince. He's a boy", said Sarafina. Nala was shocked. "Like Chumvi?" Asked Nala. Sarafina nodded. "His name is Simba and he will be the future king of the Pridelands", said Sarabi. "Wow cool!" Squeaked Nala. Sarafina shushed her. "He's trying to sleep", whispered Sarafina. Mufasa came back with Zazu. "Sarabi, he lost his mind. He just called our son a hairball", said Mufasa. "He's the hairball if anything. My mother always told me how hairy he was. Yuck", said Zazu.

"Mufasa, it's okay. He probably just couldn't make it", said Sarabi. Mufasa sighed. "I guess you're right but he didn't show up to our dad's vigil. I didn't care first but now I'm really concerned maybe he does hate my guts", said Mufasa. Sarabi embraced him. "Now that's ridiculous. Why would your brother hate you?" Asked Sarabi. "He always acts like he's against me. I tried to be understanding but I can't anymore. It's bullshit", said Mufasa. Sarabi picked up her son carefully and laid him down in their den.

Meanwhile in Rafiki's tree, Rafiki came in and saw Bashira looking at the painting of Simba that Rafiki painted. "Who is this?" Asked Bashira. "The future king of the Pride. I know you haven't met the royals yet but you will soon. You just need to stay here for now", said Rafiki. Bashira nodded. "It's fine. I don't care about seeing the royals", said Bashira. "Are you sure?" Asked Rafiki. Bashira nodded. Bashira hugged him. "I'm sorry. I just need a hug so bad", said Bashira. Rafiki kind of loved the hug. The hug reminded of the last hug his mother gave him before she perished in the wildfire.

He hugged her real tight. Bashira started sobbing. "You really remind me of my mate so bad but there's no way he's alive", said Bashira. Rafiki calmed her down. "Listen, I never was friends with my species except for my mother. You're my only friend that's a part of my species", said Rafiki. Bashira smiled. Bashira kissed him. "I'm sorry", said Bashira. Rafiki froze in shock but kissed her back. They continued kissing until Scar came into the tree. "What the hell, Rafiki?!" Asked Scar. Bashira shrieked and ran. "I'm sorry. What is it?" Asked Rafiki.

"Nothing. I just heard something. Did Mufasa invite that dirty chimp here too?" Asked Scar. Rafiki was angry. "She is not a dirty chimp. She is beautiful", said Rafiki. Scar laughed. "Keep telling yourself that", said Scar. Scar walked away and Bashira came out slowly. "I'm so sorry about that", said Rafiki. Bashira nodded slowly.
