Socially Awkward

I woke up on the couch to the smell of breakfast food. I quickly got up and ran to the kitchen hugging whoever was cooking in front of the stove. "Oh my gosh! I will love you forever if you let me have some Josh!" The person I was hugging was laughing at me, but then I realized it was Wes. I quickly let go and backed away. "Oops! I thought you were Josh. BUT still! I will love you forever if you let me have some." I gave Wes puppy eyes and he just shook his head. "You should already love me forever for the Joven poster. I worked hard on that and it was difficult to hide it from Joven, like for real."

"Hide what from Joven?" Josh rounded the corner looking at us questionably. "Whatever it is, I will find out. For now Lauren, go pack a bag with something to do. Today you are going to work with me and Wes." I nodded and walking to my room. I opened my closet and drawers grabbing out an outfit. I quickly changed and then turned to the mirror to brush out my tangled mess. I was wearing some gray washed-out skinny jeans with a Smosh tank top, a zip up lime green hoodie, and some black converse. When my hair looked decent, I grabbed my phone, laptop, and wallet off my desk and stuffed them in my bag before turning my light off and waiting for Josh in the living room. When the guys came out of their rooms, Wes laughed at me. "What? Do I have something on my face?" Josh just shook his head and motioned for me to head to the car, to which I go in the front seat. When Wes finally came out of the house, he saw me and tried to get in the front but he finally got in the back after Josh yelled at him that they were going to be late if he didn't stop dicking around.

After a 45 minute car ride, with Josh weaving in and out of traffic, we made it to Smosh games HQ. I grabbed my bag and followed Josh and Wes inside, but I was stopped by security. "Sorry, I can't let you through. Employees only." Did this guy not see I was with Josh! "But I'm with Joshua Ovenshire." Josh had been so engrossed in whatever he had been reading that he didn't notice I had gotten stopped. "Yeah, I've heard that one before. Just leave without a fuss or I will have to escort you out of the building." I got my phone out of my bag and tried to call Josh, but it went straight to voicemail. Then same with Wes. I looked through my contacts, then I found the one I was looking for. Flitz. It rang twice and he answered. "Hello?" "Hey it's um Lauren, Joven's cousin. I got stopped by security and Josh left me here... Can you come help me?" "Oooh girl, Tony is gonna get a stern talking to. I'll be there in just a second!" With that I entered the building again and the man behind the desk was about to say something, but Flitz came out of the hall and grabbed my arm excitedly leading me down the hall. Before we made it too far he turned to Tony. "This is Lauren, let her through next time. I don't make me have to come get her again." He turned around and we headed into The Smosh Games area. We walked up Josh and I hid behind Flitz. "Hey Joven, did you forget something?" He didn't even look up. "No I don't think so. Why do you ask?" I stepped from behind Flitz and punched him in the arm. "ME! You forgot me at the front desk you big dork!" Josh face-palmed. "Oh my god I'm sorry, I got distracted. Why didn't you call me or Wes?" I gave him a 'go to hell' look. "I did but neither of you answered. So I remember you said Flitz was at work today, so he brought me in." Josh looked disappointed. I wasn't upset because I got stopped by security, I was more upset because Josh knows that I don't good around people I don't know. I freak out if I get in a major crowd that is why I hated school. "It's okay I understand." Josh gave me the fakest smile ever. I hated making him upset. "Okay well I have to film a video for 'Top 5 Friday' so you can come get comfortable at my desk. If you want you can play on the set up, just don't record anything. I don't want you to mess it up." I was led by Flitz to Josh's desk to sit while he worked. "If you need anything just holler!"

With that he left me alone in the game room to do whatever. I was alone because Josh, Matt, and David were filming, so I decided to download some games and apps on my phone. I got the basic social media apps and downloaded some pictures from my Facebook. I got bored and decided to take a 'selfie' to update my Facebook profile picture. I took the picture and looked at it and realized there was Wes photo bombing me! I turned around in my chair and screamed because a bowl-haired guy was right in my face. He fell on the floor laughing and I got mad and turned around facing Josh's computer humming a tune. "Legend of Zelda Rap? You a big Smosh fan eh Lauren?" The bowl-haired man was trying to talk to me and I started feeling uncomfortable. I didn't know who he was and I felt my chest tighten. "Are you ignoring me?" The guy grabbed my shoulder and I couldn't handle it anymore, I needed Josh. I bolted up and started freaking out looking for a way out the room. I started to feel light headed and confused. I made it across the hall to the green room, but it was too late. Josh saw me and looked confused, "Jovie..." That is the last thing I remember before the darkness consumed me.
