"Hey Rose." Lily called her name
"You're late Lily." Rose said
"I'm sorry." Lily said.
"I'm in big trouble."
"What big trouble again Rose."
" I spit the truth to my brother that I knew Alita. It was a mistake. I'm really sorry. I messed up again."
"You didn't mess up anything. Don't worry about it they are going to see each other today anyway." Lily said smiling
"Why are you smiling?" Rose asked
"Nothing." Lily said.
"Uh, now I remember, your crush Hayden said "good morning." to you.
"Yes." Lily said still smiling.
"Lily when will you start using your brains. He saying good morning doesn't mean he likes you. Like it's a normal thing for him to say good morning to everyone. It's like a routine for him, so stop dreaming about him."
"Okay, what are you saying?" Lily asked with her eyes on Hayden who was collecting his books from his locker.
"Lily, stop day dreaming." Rose shouted in her ears which brought Lily out of her magical land.

Alita got dressed in work attires and went downstairs to meet her father who was already prepared to go.While her mom was busy making calls to her siblings that her daughter will be getting married soon.
"Dad, I'm ready let's go."
"Okay dear let's go."
"Bye darling." Mr. Simmons said to his wife.
"Bye mom, see you later." Alita said
"Bye, make sure you both come back before dinner time." Mrs. Katherine Alita's mom said
"Yes ma'am." They said in unison and then walked out of the house towards the car. And Gavin the driver drove them to the office. During the car ride, Mr. Simmons asked Alita.
"Alita, are you nervous?"
"Yeah, a little."
"You don't have to be nervous. I'm here. Everything will be alright." He said
After that short conversation, they were both silent throughout the ride to the office. When they reached the company, they both walked inside and were greeted by the workers. The receptionist Charlotte informed Mr. Simmons about Mr. Sullivan arrival in 20 minutes. Alita and her dad entered the elevator to the top of the building where the conference room is located.
After about 15 minutes of waiting, Alita received a call from Mrs. Tessy their house cleaner.
"Thank Goodness. I've finally been able to reach you." She said
"Good day ma'am what's the problem and why do you sound tensed?" Alita asked
"Alita it's your mom." She said
"Mom? What about her?" Alita questioned.
"Well, she slipped while coming out from the bathtub and right now she is shouting and saying that her right leg is hurting." Mrs. Tessy explained
"What? A fall ! Don't bother yourself I'll be right there." Alita said hanging up.
"Alita what's the problem? Who fell?" Her dad questioned
"It's Mom"
"Your mom! Please hurry up to meet her and take her to the hospital if necessary." He said
"Okay Dad." She said before she kissed his forehead and left.
While she was walking out, Leo and his Dad came down from their car. She stopped a cab and left. Leo on the other hand thought he had seen Alita. And when he tried to take a look to be sure it was her, she disappeared or so it seemed.
"I thought that was Alita." He said to himself
"Leo let's go in. I'm sure Mr. Simmons and his daughter are waiting for us." Mr. Sullivan said
"Ok Dad."
"Good day Mr. Sullivan." Mr. Simmons said as Mr. Sullivan entered the conference room with Leo.
"Good day Mr. Simmons. This is my son Leo."
"Good day sir." Leo greeted
"Good day to you too handsome. It so painful that you didn't get to meet my daughter. She just left as her mom, I mean my lovely wife slipped in the bathroom." He explained
"So sad." Mr. Sullivan said
"I'm sorry to hear that Sir." Leo said
"It's alright. Now let's move over to the reason for this meeting." Mr. Simmons said

Alita is in the hospital pacing restlessly as she waited for the doctor to come out and tell her how her mom was doing.
"Doctor how is she?" Alita questioned the doctor as he came out of the room her mom is.
"She will be fine young lady. It's only a little dislocation in her right leg." The doctor said.
"What? A dislocation?" Alita asked surprised that it got to that extent.
"Yes a Dislocation."
"So my mom will sit on a wheelchair?" Alita asked afraid
"No, she will only use a clutch for a few weeks and after that she will be fine." The doctor said.
"Alright Doctor Thank you very much." Alita said
"No problem." The doctor replied walking away
Alita call her dad to update him on the latest development and also ask about his friend and the son.
"Hello dad."

"Please excuse me for a moment." Mr. Simmons said to Mr. Sullivan and his son
"Alita what happened? How is she now?" He inquired
"She's fine dad. It was only a dislocation. So has your friend and his son arrived?"
"Yes. They are here."
"Please apologize for my Absence on my behalf."
"Alright dear. And please take care of my lovely wife."
"Ok dad." She said and then hung up
"Alita, did I just hear him say Alita?" Leo thought to himself
"I think I'm getting it all wrong it might either be a coincidence or that I cannot get my mind off Alita and that's the reason anyone or any name I see or hear will be as it's Alita's." Leo thought
"My daughter apologizes for not being here ." Mr. Simmons said bringing Leo back from his thought
"It's alright we understand." Mr. Sullivan said
"And what about you Leo?" Mr. Simmons inquired
"It's fine sir. Though I didn't grow up with my mom I understand what someone feels when something bad happens to their mom." Leo admitted
"That's very good. Thanks for your understanding." Mr. Simmons said smiling
