Chapter 32

  The Day Stephanie had been waiting for finally arrived. The Day She will be turning twenty two. Her Birthday. She was so excited. First of all, they were going to the beach to celebrate it with her family and friends. Then to the club her brother owned. It was going to be fun. But there was something missing. Sammy. They hadn't talked since the day he drop her home. She wasn't feeling too happy about it. She had thought of calling him and reminding him of her birthday party. But decided against it, as he might think she really wanted to see him. He doesn't even care about her anyway. They haven't even seen each other at the Gym. He was definitely avoiding her.

"Happy birthday my dear princess." Stephanie Dad said to Stephanie who was walking down the stairs.

"Thanks Dad."

"Happy birthday sweetie." Stephanie Mom said as she came out of the kitchen with a cake.

"Thanks Mom." Stephanie said.

"I made your favorite." Her mom said.

Stephanie looked at her Mom with wide eyes.

"Chocolate cake." Stephanie and her Dad both said in unison and they giggled.

After the small party Stephanie had with her family at home, She got ready and drove off to the beach. At the beach, all her friends were present and wished her a Happy Birthday. She was happy to see them again as they all went on a trip to Spain. And she couldn't go because she just got out of a relationship with Dylan and she wanted to be alone.

"Stephanie you should have come with us to Spain. We had a lot of fun." Daisy said.

Karen rolled her eyes." You're trying to make her regret, why she didn't come. Right?"

"No, I'm not trying to do that at all." Daisy said.

"Whatever." Karen said.

"You have no idea how I missed you Stephanie." Vanessa said.

"Oh, come on stop lying. I know you didn't miss me with all the fun you were having." Stephanie said.

"I'm not lying. I missed you so much.

"Oh please, cut the drama. I'm sure you didn't even remember Stephanie existed while you were busy stalking the Espanol guy." Jeanine said as she took a sip of her coconut juice.

"Oh my Goodness. Vanessa were you really stalking an Espanol guy.

"Of course not." Vanessa said." Why will I do that?" She asked.

"You lied again." Karen pointed out.

"Okay. Fine, I just couldn't resist. I mean he's so charming. He has this cute smile that can make any girl fall for him." Vanessa explained, daydreaming about the Espanol guy she meant in Spain.

"Okay enough about the guy let's Rock this party." Daisy said.

"Yeah." Jeanine shouted.

"Happy Birthday Stephanie." They shouted in unison and Stephanie smiled at them. She isn't feeling happy like she's suppose to. She just don't feel comfortable in her own birthday party. It's as if something is missing.

"Let's go surfing." Karen said to the girls as she took a surf board that was in the sand.

Daisy nodded her head. "Uh..uh. that's a bad idea."

"Come on stop being a scared cat." Vanessa said.

"But there might be a shark in there."

"We won't go too far. If you don't want to come then stay and miss out of the fun." Jeanine said as she took a surf board and followed the girls.

"Wait up. I'm coming." Daisy said as she rushed towards them with a surf board.

Oh my God. Why am I so nervous. I haven't call Stephanie for days now. It will be so awkward if I go to the birthday party. Like we haven't even been seeing each other because I had some work to do. He already bought a gift for her. But he didn't know what he was going to say if he  presented the gift to her. "Happy Birthday Stephanie." He said as he looked at the mirror and practiced what he was going to say to her. His phone began to ring. He walked towards it and picked it up." Sir. Your attention is needed at the office." He heard his Assistant voice from the other side of the phone.

"What happened?"

"Sir, you need to come over and sign some documents." He said.

"Can't it wait."

"No, Sir it's an important document.

"Ok, I'll be on my way."

"Okay Sir." He said and then Sammy hung up.

He took a deep breath." I guess I'm coming late to your  party. I'm really sorry.

After some hours of working at the office, Sammy went off to Stephanie's birthday party. When he arrived at the beach, it was crowded with people. He was definitely going to have a hard time looking for Stephanie in the crowd. After searching through the crowd for some minutes. He finally saw the person he was looking for. She was lying on a sun lounger with coconut juice in her hand. He was about to walk towards her when he remember he was still on his work clothes. He had to change first.

When he finished changing out of his work clothes. He walked towards Stephanie still memorizing the words he was going to tell her in his head.

"Look at that Guy. He's so hot." Vanessa said as she removed her sunglasses from her eyes.

"You're the only one who find all guys hot Vanessa." Jeanine said.

Daisy raised her head and looked at the guy Vanessa called hot." OMG isn't that Mr. Samuel Parkinston.

Karen jumped up immediately from the sun lounger and threw her coconut juice away." It's him, it's him." She screamed.

The Coconut flew and landed on a girl's head who was busy kissing her boyfriend." Ouch, who did that." The girl said making her boyfriend laugh.

Jeanine got up and looked at the guy they where talking about. If it was really Sammy Parkinston. "It's really him. He is the one. He won the most handsome Bachellor this year. Oh my God. I'm freaking out! tell me I'm dreaming. He's walking towards us. What's he even doing here." She said in one breath

What wrong with my friends today. They just can't stop talking about boys. "Jeanine wasn't the type of girl who always talk about guys. But all of a sudden her attitude changed.

"I mean who's this Samuel Parkinston." Girls, can you please keep quiet. I mean today is my birthday and I can't even enjoy it because you keep talking about guys." Stephanie said foaming in anger as she watched the sun. She was expecting them to apologize and pet her like a baby to stop being angry. But her friends didn't even utter a word. They just stood there and watched the guy they called "hot". She wasn't expecting this from them. She raised her head and looked at the guy they were talking about. To her surprised, it was Sammy.

"She quickly got up from the sun lounger and walked quickly to Sammy and hugged him.

"Her friends stood there with eyes wide open." Stephanie just hugged Samuel Parkinston!
