Chapter 21

Just a week to the wedding, Mr. Simmons invited Mr. Sullivan and his family for dinner.

  At dinner, they discussed about the location for the Bachelors party and the Bachelorette party.

"Mr. Simmons, I thought it wise for my soon to be daughter in law to choose the location for the Bachelor and Bachelorette party." Mr. Sullivan said

"I think that's a good idea." Mr. Simmons said "Alita dear what place do you think will be suitable?" He asked.

"Dad, I think Fabulous Hotels and suite would be nice." She suggested.

"I've been hearing good comments about that Hotel. I think it's really nice." Mr. Sullivan said.

Leo are quietly alienating himself from the conversation.

"What do you think about the Location Leo?" Mr. Simmons asked

"I think it's nice." Leo said.

"Then so be it." Mr. Sullivan concluded.

After the brief conversation, they all ate quietly.

When the time came for Mr. Sullivan and his family to leave, Mrs.Katherine advices Leo and Alita to invite their friends to the bachelor's party and the bridal shower.

"But mom you know I don't have any friends."Alita said sadly.

"Well you will have to make new friends before the day of the party or better still invite your employees in your company." Her mom advised.

"Alright mom thanks for the advise."she said.

"Well I think we will take our leave now." Mr.Sullivan said.

"Bye Lily."Rose waved

"Bye Rose." Lily waved smiling.

"Mom can I walk Mr. Sullivan and his family out?" Alita asked

"Of course. After all they will soon be your new family." Mrs. Katherine said jokingly. When they got outside the house, Mr. Sullivan entered the car followed by Rose leaving Leo to talk to Alita for some time.

"How was the meal?" Alita asked trying to spring up a conversation.

"You know it was nice. So why bother asking?" Leo asked absentmindedly.

"Leo I just want us to be friends. So we would always be comfortable around each other." Alita said.

"Bye Alita I'll see you in the party at Fabulous Hotel and Suite." Leo said walking away.

"Why does he not want to have a conversation with me or is it that he is still angry with me? But he said all of that was in the past now. So why is he acting weird." She thought to herself.

"Alita what are you doing standing there alone?" Lily asked as she came out of the house.

"Nothing, I was about coming in." She answered entering the house.

The day before the wedding which was also the Bachelor and Bachelorette party. Alita packed all the clothes she will need inside a small backpack. According to what Lily and Rose told her, she will need to change about five times as they might likely bathe her with wine or juice to show how happy they were about the wedding.

Leo on the other hand just took two         T-shirts and a pair of Jeans. When they both met at the entrance of the Hotel, Leo told Alita that; They will not be seeing each other too much that night as the party was divided.

"Well, whatever you have to say, say it now as you will not see me until tomorrow." Leo said.

"I know. I don't really have anything to say." Alita said.
Did he expect me to say something? Alita asked herself. I thought he no longer cares. But now it's like he's missed being with me. She thought.
