Subdued

In a moment, I see in ignorance bliss
So swift are my eyes bedewed
The yearning all I can reminisce,
Some memories I reclude,
With a pain one cannot dismiss.

In a swift second of pain,
Not knowing becomes peace,
In a pain so vain,
The song of a heart sounds amiss,
In crashing waves, the symphonys' plain.

In the end I brood, with a glued smile so subdued,
With a sack of skewed mood,
Stewed and brewed by the heartless feud,
By the hurtful feud of a heart boohooed.
