Chapter 1

"I need you to run, as fast as you can!" A girl said to Wang Yi and both of them are gasping while hiding in the woods.

"Find them!!" Both of them heard the men that after them.

"What about you?" Wang Yi asked and the girl shake her head, "I'm fine.. Go and run away." She said and let go of Wang Yi's hand.

"Tell me your name!" Wang Yi said but the girl say, "We don't have time for that! Just run!" She shout and Wang Yi doesn't want to leave without knowing her name.

Wang Yi grab her hand and say, "I'm giving one of my bracelet to you, I'll find you!" Wang Yi said and put the bracelet in her wrist, after that Wang Yi run and leave her.

"Agh!! I don't know!!!" Wang Yi heard the girl shout, but since she can't go back because of fear of being caught by the men who kidnapped her, Wang Yi continue to run away and ignore the fact that the person who let her run needed her help.

Wang Yi run out to the woods and saw a street, she run and run until the rain arrive.

Wang Yi don't know where to go, she stop and can't do anything but to cry. Then suddenly someone come in front of her and point a gun to her face, but since it's night and dark, she didn't saw his face.

Wang Yi's eyes suddenly widen.

But things turn out to be a dream when Wang Yi open her eyes, she's sweating so much and gasping from her nightmare.

"Ugh! Why did I dream of that day again?" Wang Yi asked and saw that it was already 7 am in the morning.

Wang Yi stand up and go to her bathroom, she rinse her face and look at the bracelet in her wrist. "Where are you now? I hope you're not dead yet." Wang Yi said and show a frown expression.

And hours later, Wang Yi come out to her room and already dressed to her formal suit attire. She go downstairs and saw her parents eating in the dining area.

"Yi Yi! Come and join us!" Her mother said.

Wang Yi approach them and kiss her mother and father's cheeks, "No! I have to go. I still have meeting." Wang Yi said and drink water, "Hmm.. Being busy again." Her mom said and show a serious expression.

Wang Yi smile and say, "Come on mom. That expression doesn't suit you." Wang Yi teased her and her father chuckles.

"Both of you are on it again." Her mother said and show a serious expression, Wang Yi check the time in her watch and saw that it was already 7:32 am.

"I have to go! Bye mom and dad!" Wang Yi said and kissed to their cheeks again.

Wang Yi get inside her car and the driver immediately leave the mansion, they arrive at the Wang company and Wang Yi go out.

The employees bow and greet her and she just smile at them, she enter the elevator and press the floor of her office.

She arrive at her floor, and she was surprised that the first person she saw is Fei Qinyuan. "Oh, Yi Yi?" Fei Qinyuan smile and Wang Yi was speechless.

"How are you?" Fei Qinyuan asked and Wang Yi come back to her senses and shook her head, "Why are you here?" Wang Yi asked and go out of the elevator.

"Actually I'm here to visit you." She said and was about to hold Wang Yi's hand but Wang Yi pretend like she's scratching her head. "Yeah, what do you need?" Wang Yi asked and Fei Qinyuan knew that she's distancing herself from her.

Fei Qinyuan smile and say, "I just wanted to give this to you.. You know, our 5th anniversary." Fei Qinyuan said and show a diamond ring but Wang Yi show a cold expression and say, "We're done.. You broke up with me." She said and Fei Qinyuan show a frown expression.

"I regret it.. I'll do everything for you to forgive me." She said and show a sad expression, Wang Yi shook her head and say, "No, because I'm already satisfied on what I had." She said and walk away in front of her.

Fei Qinyuan show a sad expression, she knew that she was wrong because she cheated on Wang Yi but now she wanted her back.

Fei Qinyuan look at the diamond ring and hide it in her bag, "I'll bring you back." Fei Qinyuan said and leave the building.

Wang Yi remember what happened when Fei Qinyuan cheated on her, and by that makes her really sad.

But the silence was broken when her phone suddenly rang, she saw that it was Yuan Yiqi who is calling her so she answer it, "Hello? Sister Qiqi?" She asked and Yuan Yiqi say, "Hi, Yi Yi. Do you mind visiting my coffee shop?" She asked and Yi Yi nod in agreement.

"Of course.. Wait for me." Wang Yi said and smile widely, after that call, she hang up the phone and get her coat.

But she wore off her bracelet and put it on her drawer.

"I can't lose the bracelet." Wang Yi said and leave her office, but she saw her secretary so she approach her and say, "Kanshi, can you cancel all my meetings for today?" Wang Yi said and her secretary nod.

Wang Yi left with her black car.
