Chapter 7 : Grand venue

In the Hei Miao coffee shop

Wang Yi arrive at the coffee shop and she saw Yuan Yiqi.

She enter and say, "Sister.. Where's sister Zhou Zhou?" She asked and Yuan Yiqi reply, "Shen Mengyao accompany her to go to a shop, they're buying something."

Wang Yi nod and sigh deeply, she get her phone and check something.

And then, Zhou Shiyu enter the door. Wang Yi was surprised and was speechless when she saw Zhou Shiyu in a white dress.

Wang Yi's jaw drop and her eyes widen.

"An angel." The words that run in her mind when she saw Zhou Shiyu, "Yi Yi!!" Zhou Shiyu wave her hand and run towards Wang Yi.

Wang Yi stand up and still speechless, then Zhou Shiyu suddenly embrace her and say, "How do I look?" Zhou Shiyu asked like a child, Wang Yi smile awkwardly and scratch her nape.

"You look great." Wang Yi said and continue to smile awkwardly, "I knew it will look good on her." Shen Mengyao said and put her shoulder bag in the table.

"What's the occasion?" Yuan Yiqi asked, "Nothing.. I just wanted to buy her that dress." Shen Mengyao reply and smile.

Wang Yi show a normal smile and say, "Sister.. Can I invite you to a party?" Wang Yi asked and Zhou Shiyu was puzzled. "Huh? What party?" She asked.

"It's a grand party.. You know?" Wang Yi said and show an awkward smile, "I'll think about it.. What day is it?"

"It's tonight."

Zhou Shiyu was surprised, "What?!! Okay.. I'll just come with you." Zhou Shiyu said and Wang Yi can see the reluctance in her eyes, "Are you sure?" Wang Yi asked and Zhou Shiyu nod at her.

"Yeah.. I'm sure."

Wang Yi smile widely and say, "Thank you." She said and Zhou Shiyu nod, "But... What should I wear?" She asked.

"Just that dress." Yuan Yiqi point at her white dress and Wang Yi and Shen Mengyao nod in agreement, "You just need a little makeup." Shen Mengyao said and touch her face.

"I know a makeup artist.. Don't worry about it." Wang Yi said and smile.

Wang Yi looked at Yuan Yiqi and say, "Sister Qiqi, will you go?" Wang Yi asked and Yuan Yiqi don't know what to say.

Yuan Yiqi sigh deeply and say, "You know the issue between me and my father." Yuan Yiqi said and show a frown expression.

Shen Mengyao smile and embrace Yuan Yiqi to comfort her, "Everything will be okay.. You know, I think it's also a great idea for you and your father to meet up." Shen Mengyao said.

"But... He never accepted us."

"That's why we have to prove it to him." Shen Mengyao said and continue to smile, "Sister Yaoyao is right... You have to show it to uncle Yuan that both of you love each other." Wang Yi said and smile.

Yuan Yiqi show a pale smile and sigh deeply.

"Yi Yi, I'm afraid that I can only make you embarrassed." Zhou Shiyu said and seems afraid to continue to the party, Wang Yi smile and say, "No, you won't.. Just stay beside me." Wang Yi said and Zhou Shiyu nod multiple times.

A couple of minutes later

Wang Yi brought Zhou Shiyu in her private makeup artist and waited outside while reading a newspaper.

Wang Yi check the time in her watch and sigh deeply.

Shen Mengyao and Yuan Yiqi arrive and say, "Is Zhou Shiyu done?" Shen Mengyao asked and Wang Yi shook her head, "She's not.. But I think she'll come out soon." Wang Yi said and yawn.

Then Zhou Shiyu come out wearing  white gown.

Wang Yi, Yuan Yiqi and Shen Mengyao was so shock to see her.

"Wow!" Wang Yi's jaw drop that's why Yuan Yiqi close her mouth, "It will fall." She said and chuckles.

Wang Yi stand up and walk towards Zhou Shiyu, "Yi Yi, I think I don't look good on this.. Besides, I think it's expensive." Zhou Shiyu said and wanted to wear off the gown, but Wang Yi hold her hand and say, "Just think that this is my gift to you." She said and continue to smile.

Shen Mengyao and Yuan Yiqi was surprised.

"Sister, let's go.. The place is getting too tight for the both of us." Yuan Yiqi said and Shen Mengyao nod in agreement. "Yi Yi, we're going in the car!" Shen Mengyao said and Wang Yi nod

Wang Yi look back at Zhou Shiyu, "Who really are you?" Zhou Shiyu asked and Wang Yi continue to smile, "You'll know sooner or later." She said and held her hand.

Both of them go out and ride the black car.

Hours later

7 pm | Grand ceremony for the 72th anniversary of the Wang company.

All of the guests arrive and already in the grand venue.

Yuan Yiqi and Shen Mengyao arrive and the photographers and the reporters immediately take video and approach them, but the guards stop them.

"The daughter of the Yuan family is now attending the grand venue with her lover named Shen Mengyao!"

"It's Yuan Yiqi!!" The other girls shout and Shen Mengyao is so annoyed at them.

And then, Wang Yi's black car arrive. Wang Yi go out and she already caught everyone's attention.

"Wang Yi is here!!"

"Wang Yi arrive!!" The reporters shout.

Wang Yi saw that Zhou Shiyu isn't still coming out so she open the door and say, "Sister, let's go." She said and saw that Zhou Shiyu is trembling.

"I'm fine.. Can I just go back?" She asked and Wang Yi show a pale smile, she hold her hand and say, "It's okay.. I'm here.. Just trust me." Wang Yi said and Zhou Shiyu slowly calm down.

Zhou Shiyu slowly go out of the car and the reporters became speechless after seeing her, "Yi Yi, there's so many people." Zhou Shiyu whisper and seems frightened to show her face, "It's fine.. Everything will be fine." Wang Yi said and hold her hand tight.

Both of them enter and everyone was also speechless, but not Yuan Yiqi and Shen Mengyao.
