Chapter 24 : The bracelet

Night

Zhou Shiyu saw that it was already 9 pm and Wang Yi isn't still arriving at the house, she get her phone again and dialed Wang Yi's number. But still the same.

Zhou Shiyu can't help but to be distressed, she felt guilty for helping Fei Qinyuan.

She dialed Yuan Yiqi's number and Yuan Yiqi answer, "Hello?" She asked.

"Qiqi, do you know where is Yi Yi?" Zhou Shiyu asked, "No, sister Zhou. Maybe she's in her office again, because she always do that everytime she's having a problem." Yuan Yiqi said and Zhou Shiyu show a frown expression.

"Thank you." Zhou Shiyu added and hang up the phone.

Zhou Shiyu sit down and sigh deeply, she remember the first time they met, and even remember the time they share a bed.

"Yi Yi, do you hate me now?" Zhou Shiyu asked herself while staring in nothing. Zhou Shiyu can't help but to cry, she don't even understand why she felt so lonely and hurt.

"Yi Yi!" She call Wang Yi's name and keep on crying.

Zhou Shiyu lie down in the sofa and embrace herself, she close her eyes and calm herself.

"I missed your embrace." The words that ran in her mind while being alone in the sofa, she keep remembering the warm and comfortable embrace that Wang Yi always gave when she's having a nightmare or whether she felt anxious.

But she didn't notice that she slowly fall asleep in the sofa.

Morning

Zhou Shiyu wake up and saw that she slept all night in the sofa, she sit down and get her phone. But when she check it, she saw that Wang Yi didn't reply to her messages.

Zhou Shiyu show a frown expression and suddenly Chen Ke message her.

"Ms. Zhou, can we meet in the Hei Miao coffee shop?" Chen Ke asked and Zhou Shiyu show a puzzled expression.

Zhou Shiyu turn off her phone and go upstairs to prepare.

A couple of hours later, Zhou Shiyu came in the Hei Miao coffee shop and close her umbrella.

"Today's weather is rainy until tomorrow, kindly bring umbrella with you." The news said and Chen Ke are just listening.

"Oh, Zhou Zhou. Sister Chen Ke have been waiting for you." Shen Mengyao said and Zhou Shiyu nod in agreement, "I know." Zhou Shiyu said and was about to approach Chen Ke, but Shen Mengyao grab her arm and touch her face, "Zhou Zhou, you're pale. Do you have a fever?" Shen Mengyao asked and touch her forehead.

"Zhou Zhou, you have a mild fever!" Shen Mengyao added and show a worried expression, but Zhou Shiyu just smile and gently put her hand down and say, "I'm fine, and I already take medicine." Zhou Shiyu said and then approach Chen Ke.

"Sister Ke Ke. Why do you want to see me?" Zhou Shiyu asked and Chen Ke stand up and say, "Kindly have a sit Ms. Zhou."

"Please call me Zhou Zhou." Zhou Shiyu said and Chen Ke clear her throat, "Please have a sit, Zhou Zhou." Chen Ke said and it seems awkward because of her formality.

Zhou Shiyu sit down and Chen Ke also go back to sit, "What's the matter? Why you wanted to see me?" Zhou Shiyu asked and cough in front of her.

"Sorry." Zhou Shiyu added and Chen Ke shook her head and smile, "No problem. It's just that i wanted to ask a few questions, but I'll just straight to the point." Chen Ke said and Zhou Shiyu look at her directly in the eye.

"Maybe you're the person that Wang Yi finding?" Chen Ke said and Zhou Shiyu show a puzzled expression, "What do you mean?" Zhou Shiyu asked and cough again.

"Wang Yi is being kidnapped by Fan Xiyong 8 years ago and she told me that a girl helped her to escape, but she didn't get her name so she gave her a bracelet so she can find her someday." Chen Ke explain and Zhou Shiyu show a surprise expression.

"What kind of bracelet she gave?" Zhou Shiyu asked, "Wait." Chen Ke said and get her phone in her pocket.

Chen Ke show the picture of the bracelet and Zhou Shiyu was so shock to see it.

"That bracelet... Belongs to her?" She asked and Chen Ke nod multiple times, "Yeah.. I'm just wandering if it's you-." Chen Ke didn't get to finish when Zhou Shiyu suddenly show the bracelet to her.

Chen Ke was surprised to see it.

"Wang Yi.. Is the little girl I helped... 8 years ago." Zhou Shiyu said, "You didn't stole it from someone, are you?" Chen Ke said and take a better look at it.

"Tell me.... Did Wang Yi really finding the person who holds this bracelet?" Zhou Shiyu asked once again and Chen Ke nod multiple times.

Zhou Shiyu sigh in relief and smile, "I have to talk to her." Zhou Shiyu said and was about to leave, but Shen Mengyao stop her and say, "I'll take you to her!" She said and wear off the apron and gave it to Yuan Yiqi.

"Qiqi! I'm leaving!" Shen Mengyao said and Yuan Yiqi show a puzzled expression and look at Chen Ke, but Chen Ke just shrugged her shoulders and take a sip of her coffee.

Shen Mengyao drive and was focus while Zhou Shiyu can't wait to see Wang Yi.

"Zhou Zhou, tell me what's happening?" Shen Mengyao asked, "Wang Yi.. She's the girl that I helped 8 years ago." Zhou Shiyu said and Shen Mengyao was so shock to hear that.

"What?!"

"Yaoyao, please hurry!" Zhou Shiyu said and Shen Mengyao just shut her mouth and make a way to drive faster.
