Chapter 29 : Death of general Chen

Chen Ke was so shock to see that her father's car explode.

"Chen Ke!!!" Jiang Yun shout and approach Chen Ke.

"Chen Ke, are you okay?" Jiang Yun asked and help Chen Ke to sit down, "Dad?" Chen Ke point to the car and Jiang Yun was also shock to see it.

Chen Ke slowly stand up and approach the car that was already in fire and shout, "Dad!! Dad!!" She keep shouting and was about to approach but Jiang Yun stop her and say, "It's dangerous!!" Chen Ke said and keep pulling her away.

"Dad!! Dad!!"

The car explode again and both Chen Ke and Jiang Yun fall in the ground.

Jiang Yun cough and Chen Ke lost consciousness, "Ke Ke!! Ke Ke!!" Jiang Yun shout and keep waking her up.

"Call an ambulance!!" Jiang Yun shout and the other policemen call ambulance while the others get fire extinguisher and kill the fire.

Wang Ji who is watching from a far keep laughing while Fan Xiyong is beside him, "I didn't knew that it will be fun like this!" Wang Ji said and keep laughing.

It turns out that Wang Ji and Fan Xiyong is the one who planned the explosion to general Chen's car.

"Now that Chen San died, what will you gonna do about her daughter?" Fan Xiyong asked and Wang Ji look at him, "If her daughter try on getting on our way, then she'll surely end up like her father." Wang Ji reply and keep laughing.

Then Fan Xiyong also laugh and both of them look crazy, they keep laughing without a joke.

Zhou Shiyu assist Wang Yi to sit properly in the bed and put pillow in her back for her to feel more comfortable.

"Yi Yi, are you sure that you don't want to go to the hospital?" Zhou Shiyu asked and Wang Yi shook her head and show a faint smile.

"I'm fine sister... Sorry to make you see that." Wang Yi said and Zhou Shiyu show a worried expression, "Yi Yi, tell me if you have problems. We can talk about it."

"Sister... I know you're worried... But you should stop worrying, I'm already okay. And Fei Qinyuan is now in the police station, I know they can take care of her." Wang Yi explain and Zhou Shiyu hold her hand, "I know but I'm still worried." Zhou Shiyu said and stopping her tears to fall down, Wang Yi embrace her and say, "I'm sorry for making you worried."

Wang Yi kiss her forehead and show a smile, Zhou Shiyu slowly calm down and nod multiple times.

"Stop worrying.. I'm fine now."

Then the news on TV suddenly show up,"For today's news, general Chen got into a car explosion in the parking lot of police station. General Chen was now in the hospital and the policemen are already investigating the scene."

Zhou Shiyu saw that Wang Yi is very serious about listening to the news.

"Sister Chen Ke is in danger?" Wang Yi asked herself and get her phone, she dialed Chen Ke's number but no one is answering.

"What's wrong?" Zhou Shiyu asked and Wang Yi shook her head, "Nothing.. I have to check something." Wang Yi said and was about to stand up but Zhou Shiyu grab her arm and say, "I'll come with you!"

Wang Yi knew that she can't refuse so she just nod in agreement and leave with her.

In the morgue.

Chen Ke have bandages in her hands and neck, and even have bruises in her face but that's not the thing she's thinking. She was so shock and stunned to see her father lying in the morgue bed.

Chen Ke can see that his body and face was burned out and barely to recognize him.

But Chen Ke slowly take a step, making herself believe that everything is a lie, an illusion and a dream.

But when she get to hold her father's hand, she didn't get stop her tears to fall.

Jiang Yun arrive and show a sad expression, seeing Chen Ke cry like that makes her really sad.

"Dad! Wake up!!" Chen Ke said and pat her father's face.

"The report says that they saw Fan Xiyong in the scene." Jiang Yun said and by hearing that makes Chen Ke to show an angry expression.

Chen Ke approach her and say, "Tell me... How did he killed my father?" She asked and Jiang Yun don't know what to say.

"They plan this out... They left a bomb in the car and after that, they just waited for general Chen. And the CCTV saw Mr. Wang Ji in a car, but we're not sure yet if he is really Wang Ji-." Jiang Yun didn't get to finish when Chen Ke go out even she can't walk properly.
