Chapter 17

"What are you doing here?" Wang Yi asked with a cold expression and Fei Qinyuan suddenly show a smile, "I'm here to visit you. I just missed you." Fei Qinyuan said and walk towards Wang Yi.

"Stop right there!" Wang Yi show a serious expression and Fei Qinyuan stop and take a glance at Wang Yi's hand that holding Zhou Shiyu's hand.

Zhou Shiyu knew that she's looking in their hands so she immediately let go of Wang Yi and seems embarrassed about it.

"Why don't you just go? I don't want to be stressed in my meetings today." Wang Yi said and politely show the way out to her, Fei Qinyuan chuckles and knew to herself that she was insulted by Wang Yi.

Fei Qinyuan go out and felt so pissed, then Shen Mengyao and Yuan Yiqi also enter Wang Yi's office.

Shen Mengyao worriedly embrace Zhou Shiyu.

"Zhou Zhou!" She said and accidentally hold to her arm, Zhou Shiyu groan and Shen Mengyao was a bit surprised.

"Why? What happened?" Shen Mengyao asked and Zhou Shiyu shook her head, "Nothing." She said and continue to smile. Shen Mengyao look at Wang Yi and say, "What happened?" Shen Mengyao repeat and look so worried.

Wang Yi show a frown expression and say, "Police Chen Ke told me that she was hurt by a thief." Wang Yi explain and seems hesitating to say it.

Shen Mengyao sigh and look so problematic, "I already told you that you should stop helping others!" Shen Mengyao said and Zhou Shiyu just show a smile.

"Yaoyao, I know you're worried but you know me." Zhou Shiyu said and Shen Mengyao don't know what to say, Zhou Shiyu look at Wang Yi and bow in front of her, "Thank you for everything."

All of them don't know how to react on Zhou Shiyu's sudden action.
"W-why you seems like you're saying goodbye?" Wang Yi asked and stuttered a bit.

Zhou Shiyu look at her and say, "I'm happy to have a friends like you guys. Yi Yi, once I found a job, I promise I won't bother you again." Zhou Shiyu said and Wang Yi show a puzzled expression.

"Sister, stop talking like that. It seems like you wanted to say that you're a burden but you're not." Wang Yi said and gently hold to her shoulders, Zhou Shiyu just smile and nod multiple times at her.

And Wang Yi's secretary enter and say, "Ms. Wang, sorry to bother." She said and seems shy to enter, "Oh, Kanshi. Come in." Wang Yi said.

The secretary enter and pass a paper to her, "What's this?" Wang Yi asked and read the paper.

Wang Yi saw that it was a resignation letter, she look at her and say, "You wanted to resign?" She asked and show a normal expression. "Yes, CEO Wang... My family is moving now in Vietnam and I have to follow them, I hope you agree to it." Her secretary said and bow in front of her.

Wang Yi sigh and say, "Okay.. If that's what you want." Wang Yi said and show a frown expression.

Wang Yi embrace her and say, "Thank you for staying in 5 years in the company." Wang Yi thanked her and her secretary just nod multiple times, "Thank you Ms. Wang because you're a kind person." She said and both of them smile at each other.

"I'm going now." She said and leave his office.

Wang Yi sigh and keep showing a frown expression, "What's wrong?" Yuan Yiqi asked and Wang Yi turn around and look at her.

"My secretary just resigned.. Now, I have to hire another secretary again." Wang Yi said and seems problematic about it, "You don't have to worry about it, Zhou Zhou is here!" Shen Mengyao said and point at Zhou Shiyu.

"Huh?!" Zhou Shiyu was so shock to hear that.

Wang Yi smile and look at Zhou Shiyu, "Sister Zhou Zhou, are you interested of the job?" Wang Yi asked and Zhou Shiyu look at her.

"What should I do? I never became a secretary before." Zhou Shiyu said and shook her head multiple times.

"Yi Yi, how about the news that the others gossiping about the both of you?" Yuan Yiqi asked and Zhou Shiyu show a puzzled expression, "What news?" Zhou Shiyu asked.

Wang Yi sigh again and say, "It's the news that you're my rumored girlfriend." Wang Yi said and Zhou Shiyu was surprised to hear that, "Don't worry! It's just a rumored. No need to take it serious." Wang Yi added and Zhou Shiyu sigh in relief.

They became silent for 8 seconds and Zhou Shiyu made up her mind and look at Wang Yi, "Okay.. I'll take the job, I'll just give you my resume once I'm ready." Zhou Shiyu said and Wang Yi slowly approach her and say, "No need to worry about the resume, you can give it to me later or tomorrow." Wang Yi said and stop in front of Zhou Shiyu.

Zhou Shiyu suddenly pat her head and say, "How could you be taller than me if you're younger than me?" Zhou Shiyu asked and Wang Yi suddenly blush deeply.

"Oh! Yi Yi, do you have a fever?" Zhou Shiyu added and Wang Yi shook her head and turn around, "No! It's just hot in here." She said and hide her face.

"Huh?! It's clearly cold because of your aircon!" Shen Mengyao and Yuan Yiqi said together and react at her.

Zhou Shiyu suddenly groan again from the pain in her arm.

Wang Yi, Yuan Yiqi and Shen Mengyao panicked, "What's wrong?" Shen Mengyao asked and Zhou Shiyu shook her head again.

Wang Yi get a painkillers in her drawer and give it to Shen Mengyao, "It will help her to ease the pain.. Sister Zhou Zhou, once my work is done, we'll go to the hospital." Wang Yi said and Zhou Shiyu shook her head.

"No..! I'm really fine."

"Zhou Zhou, if you're worried about the bill, then I'll pay for you, as long as you feel better." Shen Mengyao said and look so worried, "There's a water in the office kitchen, take her there for her to drink water." Wang Yi said and Yuan Yiqi and Shen Mengyao nod.

They all go out and Wang Yi sigh and seems problematic, she keep calming herself. Then she suddenly saw her bracelet in the table and pick it up.

"I almost forgot." Wang Yi said and get her phone, she dialed Chen Ke's number and Chen Ke answer the call, "Hello?"

"Hello, sister Ke Ke.. Can I ask a favor?"

"Sure. What is it?"

"Can you find the person who had the same bracelet like me?"

"Can you send a picture of that bracelet?"

Wang Yi take a picture of her bracelet and send it to Chen Ke, she put the phone back in her ear and say, "I already send it to you.. The person who only had that bracelet is me and the person who holds the other one." Wang Yi explain.

"Is that person your lost love?" Chen Ke asked and Wang Yi shook her head, "That person helped me to escape that night of 8 years ago, I hope she's not dead yet." Wang Yi said and sit down in her chair.

"Okay. I get it. I'll just call you once I found any clue." Chen Ke said and Wang Yi nod and hang up the phone.
